LeBlanc: Would moving damage from her W to the root portion of E as a nerf make you happy?

Take a large portion (not all) of the damage on (W) Distortion and place it on the secondary damage/root of (E) Ethereal Chains. This would mean that theoretically she retains her max damage, but in reality she must not only hit her (E) but also stick around long enough (1.5 seconds) for it to proc the secondary effect. A smaller nerf would be put the damage on the first part of (E).

Poof, her full burst damage isn't done in a fraction of a second and it's possible for you to counter against it.

Disclaimer: I personally don't have a problem with LeBlanc. I am a Support main, so I rarely have to deal with her myself anyway. This is brainstorming brought on by seeing tons of "LeBroken" posts.

the only problem with this is that leblanc is incredibly fucking squishy because of the damage she has, so forcing her to stick around that long would mean she'd have to get MAJOR defense buffs, or else she would fall off by 15 minutes and she would be left to rot in a corner crying until she'd get reworked 2 seasons down the line.

let alone how fucked her early/mid game would be simply out of the waveclear mutilation that starborn mentioned.

if this happened leblanc would be an "assassin" with nearly all her damage being dependent on a skinny as shit chain that can be broken by the range of most the dashes in the game in competative, that has zero waveclear, and who is squishy as hell with an absolute garbage aa damage early still. and that would be her early/mid game, where shed be the strongest, and shed only fall off from there.

Her tether range is insanely long. She can maneuver to dodge or outrange any other mid laner and still keep it attached for the short time necessary. Making it worse for her is kind of the purpose of a nerf anyway.

LB has a win rate of like 43% now. She doesn't need another nerf.

That's because she's popular, noobs play her, do bad, and lower the overall winrate of her.

Notice how her play rate and her win rate has gone down in the same patch that gutted her.

Also, notice how even players who have 125+ games with her can't even break an average of 50% wins.

She doesn't need another fucking nerf. Compare Azir, a high skill floor champion with a low average win rate, but whose mains have a win rate of 56%.

Her W already does considerably less damage than her other skills if her Sigil/Root procs. Any more damage off and I don't see how she'd be able to deal with mages waveclearing her to death. If something like that were to happen, she'd need to use WR in order to clear anything, and she'd probably require a lower cooldown on the ability, which would only cause more frustration for everyone.

Her E also does the most damage out of all her basic skills, which is funny to me.

For the reasons you give, yes.

However, this is a much larger nerf than you think. This really hurts her laning as well. If she can't push minions out with her W she won't reach the stage where she has a chance to burst someone.

The Starkiller X51's point - she would need some form of tankiness buff if she is required to stay in range for 1.5 seconds.

Overall this is a bad change - it has the right intention, but will effectively remove Leblanc from the roster, something that I don't think should happen to any champion.

The problem with this is that this will nerf her wave clear ability significantly. She already has problems doing this, which is one of the things that holds her back, so nerfing this even further won't help imo. Also she just got E nerfs, making moving power into that ability a very bad thing for her. I know some people would love to see her gone, but I think this change would make her dead and not worth playing.

I think her damage should massively be shifted to her Q and away from W and E.
