I main Azir and I've had my opponents complain about how "easy" he is. All I do is press Q, I hide behind my soldiers etc. I don't think people even realize how easy it is to die as Azir. I have over 250K mastery points on him and it took me that many games just to do with him what anyone can do after playing a typical champ only a few times. For example Mundo. Only took me like 3 games to learn how to play Mundo comfortably.
As for my feelings on Azir.....Well I'm Bronze and when I see another Azir on my team at my elo, I'm always skeptical, and when I see one on the enemy team, I always think "free gold". Call me arrogant, but at my level of play, the only one I trust playing Azir is myself. Because I know it takes a lot of dedication to 1st learn how not to die with him and even more dedication to learn how to dominate a game with him. 80% of the games where my allies don't feed or lose too many towers by the time I get my 3rd item, I can usually carry from there or help others carry. Hell I've even brought back games where they fed horrendously. But it takes lots and lots of practice with him to get to that point of effectiveness with him. You can't play Azir for 10 games and expect to be effective with him.
