tips for trading as kalista?

I'll be practicing the stacks on anion to Q through the champ and Rend but is there any other helpful tips

Kalista is a scaling champion. As such, you want to try to avoid trades early on. Relying on your support is the best choice since they can provide stuns / snares / silences to lock down the enemy adc so you can start stacking rends on them while they're focusing on your support.

As part of her Kit, the "black oath", her kit revolves around partnership and cooperation with her oathsworn partner (usually your support).

I thought she was an early game- mid game monster?

i think it depends on your playstyle and who you're up against. If I play her, I play safe just because I know later on, I'll destroy with my innate kiting kit and I don't want to risk dying and getting the other adc ahead of me. And if you're up against like a Draven or something, you're much better off not trying to trade early.
