Before I write out my essay on the hypocrisy surrounding Lulu's balance between solo lane and support, I would like to ask any Rioter willing to comment, "Is Lulu not going to get any support buffs before worlds, if ever?"

I think riot already gave up on lulu support since you can't really force someone to be a support unless crippling them

GuiltyGecko4 votesGlad it came off that way, since it was intended. Didn't wanna be just aggressive since that comes off as just angry, but didn't want to be passive or else it may look like I don't care :P.
With that said, here is an excerpt from the 4.13 patch notes:
We initially thought solo lane Lulu was a unique addition to the game, so we wanted to let her stay a viable pick in both solo and duo lanes...we know this isn't a great situation where we keep indirectly reducing support Lulu's power to maintain her viability as a mage, so this is something we'll have to really consider for the future
Riot already knows that mage Lulu is unhealthy, and they know they keep hitting support Lulu with these "mage" nerfs, but nothing is helping. I just want a dialogue in which we discuss the direction of my poor little Lulu. Almost every recent patch has had a Lulu nerf in it.

While I don't main support, I do like to play Lulu when I do have to and have to agree that it's disheartening to see her hit every patch. I don't know what she didn't get the Annie treatment where they just lower he Ratios and up her bases. If Lulu is going to be picked, it should be for her utility, not damage. The problem with Solo lane Lulu is that she can build AP and do acceptable, safe damage, while still getting loads of utility. Keep the utility, take away the damage.
