Fair point. I guess its mainly because I own at Xin Zhao in his current state. He requires patience to achieve this. If riot keeps buffing champs because not everyone can be good at them then it takes the skill out of the game which is what I love about it. His w works fine. If you main Xin you know what to do and don't need riot making you work another 6 months or however long remastering a champ for the sake of a few people who don't play him right.

I think its more like the case w/ jax/voli/WW in that he is outdated, his abilities have very little skill expression aside from getting his passive armor reduction on the right person and the insec potential with his ult.

I'm not saying that he should be all skillshots or anything but he is just very binary in that if he's ahead he'll dash to the target knock up w/ 3rd q and kill them, if behind they'll probably get away without him being able to do much to stop them, very similar to old Warwick (aside from WW's dependence on his ult) if ahead he gets the kill if behind he gets cc'd/kited to death
