Loving the Elemental Dragons

Anyone else having fun and enjoying themselves with the dragons? I personally love dragon control, and on Vi I can solo it fairly easily at level 4 without much trouble.

I really love the buffs, and it's so fun to collect them. They have won games pretty damn hard, and I don't think I've lost a game yet where I've had complete control or near complete control of dragons.

Each buff is really awesome, and how they stack are great. The only concern is Riot nerfing one element or perhaps certain elements and making certain dragons undesireable because they lowered it enough to make people not care about them.

In the first or second game with these dragons I got a level 3 water buff, and it was amazing watching everyone crush in the team fight cause the regen was so powerful.

I've had level 3 earth dragon and it was nice seeing turrets melt.

Last game I just had double fire and double water and it was also amazing.

So far I haven't seen to much of Air, only once or twice, but moving fast is always loved, especially after boot enchants were taken away.

Anyways I hope they keep the power of the buffs the way they are now as I really think they are about perfect.

The only thing I haven't been able to do is get an Elder Dragon, either I've lost or won the game before it manages to show up. The one time it did (and we had like 4-5 buffs) the enemy team got it. (Though we won, it was tough)

I really hate people bitching about the "RNG" of it. RNG shakes things up, it makes people have to deal with things, be on their toes. Not only that, but each buff combating the thing that they empower means each dragon buff is just as good getting it as preventing it.

If this is how they put some RNG into their game I wouldn't mind some other RNG stuff in the future.

Not so much. The buffs are kind of absurd and if the winning team picks up the buffs it's just way too snowbally. The old dragons was nice because it was okay for the losing team to let a couple dragons go so you could catch up and not have to fight a losing battle at dragon. Now it seems like if you're behind you're forced into fighting for these buffs because 3/4 of them are just absurd. Damned if you do, damned if you don't

I just want the colors to make more sense. Why is the water dragon green? Green should be earth if anything. Air's symbol shouldn't be blue. They are things I can get used to, but they are NOT intuitive.

The only time riot didn't take inspiration with avatar was the dragon concepts. The colors should be the same as the elemental color symbols.

It looks like they may hot fix it to make air white and water blue so people are not confused

I really enjoy them too! They had a dynamic element to each game where each one feels different, and strategies can be developed or changed depending on the kind of dragons available.

Besides the color things though, I have a few problems.

First, the Air dragon is a little weak in comparison to the others. The move speed for me hasn't been terribly noticable, especially in consideration of what the other buffs give.

More importantly, however, is the fact that the red dragon is far too powerful. Its role is suppose to be boosting combat vs champions. Sure, it does this, but because it is buffing ad/ap, its also buffing minion clearing, tower pushing, and jungle clearing. Its head and shoulders above the other dragons in terms of what it gives. Instead of an ad/ap buff, it should be buffing damage to champions; then it would be fulfilling its role while not being just a generic power increase.
