When will teams realize that he isn't good, he just talks a big game?

It sucks because I love Impact, Xmithie is pretty cool too. It's a shame they put their lot in with Double-choke.

Will this be Team Liquid's wake up call and get an ADC that can handle some INTernational pressure?

Watching G2 dismantle TL was so much fun. Despite wanting NA to get MSI or Worlds victory, I rather support some amazing EU play, than braggart bully (but then INTing/terrible) NA get lucky.

But yeah it wasn't by luck that G2 dismantled TL.

Now that they smacked so hard by G2, maybe people will stop giving them to much respect and start smacking this team around and start getting some REAL NA representation. I'm sick of Throw-S-M. I'm tired or Team Loss-quid. I want some NA pride and having a respectable team that's decent win.

Cloud 9 and a few others can do it, but they need to stop over respecting TL. This is the first step in the road to recovery.

This entire time I was hoping that EU could secure some much needed Doublelift humiliation and humble pie. It turns out they served that and some Sit-down-vanilla ice cream.

Perkz as a mid showing just how to ADC.

I'm hoping G2 gets second place, right after Cloud 9 remembers they are better than TL and starts their comeback Summer Split (and then gets to finals)

Well here's hoping.

If you knew ANYTHING about doublelift, you'd understand he isn't entitled. He had his parents disown him and he was living off of ramen noodles in the early days, poor as fuck. To earn money he was writing reviews of builds. He has some rights to actually brag, considering he had nothing and no support network.

Show a little more respect than that.

Doublelift has been at the fucking top of the league of Legends leaderboards since the competitive scene started.

I think he's pretty goddamn good.

You sound really professional to make it look like it was DL only fault and not like the whole of TL being unable to do anything for 2 matches and a half.

Considering he knows how terrible it is without a support group, without people lifting him up he treats the people who are his support team and network terribly with his braggart ways. It's cool he earned himself a paycheck and brought himself up. It's his attitude that is terrible that makes people dislike him.

I mean have you ever heard of an NFL player named Richard Sherman? He used the exact same motives that DoubleLift does. Talk a big game to be covered, and represented. The media loves bold statements. Don't judge people on their actions on stage, they are not the same person and it's no reason to defame them.

You can have people who act confident and still act like a real person. There are plenty of pro's that are not only respectful, but have the "I'm pretty damn good at this game" attitude. He takes it a disrespectful level. But on top of that, he disrespects his team, which is something you should never do.

Foreal though. Dude has never been good. Never been able to compete internationally. He got clapped 3 times in a row today. Incredibly satisfying to watch.

the mistake doublift did were mistake i would only do on my really bad days... AND IM ONLY GOLD. look TL vs G2 game 3 at 9:50 into the game

double lift 0/2/0 after feeding 2 games in row with jungler and support at his turret, no heal and no flash, he walk in range of the rakan when mikyx got flash AND ult.... only reason doublelift didnt die was probably g2 not wanting to commit thinkking it was bait but doublelift was just doomed

This is actually so misguided in it's thinking. I do agree that DLift had issues in the past and but he also admits that. He acknowledges his issues of the past and he continually tries to improve his behavior. If you do not like him because you get butt hurt by a little bit of trash talk then that's your thin skin. There is a similar thing going on with Dardoch, too, where people always point to his toxicity, which is a thing he has proven to be of the past. He has reformed greatly. To the question of how good of a player he is, he is an amazing player. It seems you are holding his worth based on today's match rather than his extremely long career. Even in this tournament he had been the third best ADC behind the very talented JackieLove and Teddy. Sure this is the first time in his career that he has made it out of groups but it is hard for me to believe that you can look back at his teams results from previous international competitions and put the blame on him for his team's failures at the international stage. Doublelift had a bad day, it happens to everyone. The only bad thing I would have to say is that I believe TL should play through Jensen, but that is mostly predicated on the idea the DLift and CoreJJ can attain leads on their own.
