Silence discussions

Does anybody else think that silences shouldn't effect summoner spells, I mean you have kits like Syndra who get silenced by Cho'gath and have no way of escaping because they rely on their kit. Just think that silences should not negate a whole persons kit and still leave them no ways of escape or defense.
