i also agree we should have new reworks or champs banned for a week or two.

because then they will int in a week later when akali is banned, how is it not obvious this does nothing at all?

At least we got to delay the problem.

sure lets just delete her, fine with me. will solve the issue of a large playerbase that thinks they are skilled when they are not from existing. I'm already hyped that I am probably 5x better than most akali mains at their own new champion.

No, but for a month would be nice.

No, but for a month would be nice.

And then in 1 month, people will ban Akali for being 'new to ranked'.

It makes no fucking difference, seriously, it doesn't.

In 1 month, some asshole will also ban Akali when a teammate has her highlighted and like 100k mastery already, and that person will fucking pick teemo and int just like what is happening today, this entire concept is pointless, be it a month, a year, a day, a week, no matter what, the same exact shit will happen, so complaining there should be a delay, of any length, is just equally pointless.

The odds of the person banning a teammates selection and not instantly losing from that are basically not in your favor to begin with. If I want to play brain dead ass aniva, and you ban fucking aniva, I instantly feel like trying to help you win a lot less, akali yet again is just a pointless example, when the problem in this circumstance exists no matter what.

You got an inter in league of legends? No fucking way! It must be akali rework fault! cmon dude..that's like the smallest contributing factor in the entire story.

How do you figure?

It's not like people are against people going Aatrox in Ranked, and he's not even been out for 2 months.

So... Your opinion is basically what everyone elses is as well?

Because you feel like inting when somebody bans your champion, that must mean everybody feels like inting when somebody bans their champion.

Marothennan2 votes

People will int even years after a champion is released, hell, look at M7 Yasuos, but if they really wanna play that champ that badly they will end up going in normals to try it there and will at least have some experience with the champion before taking it in ranked next week.

Iręlía3 votes

Sorry, but thats a horrible Idea. Basically, if they were banned, how would anyone learn to play against them? You literally only DELAY the "new champ/rework rush" and will be even more unprepared to fight them.

Yikes, I didn't see "ranked".

you dont need to learn to play them in ranked the moment they come out. go play norms

Iręlía1 votes

You didn't say ranked. And if its ranked they are banned, then they should be unbannable in normals.

God Bless.

Edge of Daybreak2 votes

LOL go play norms. Yeah when people are either matched against players who are several tiers below or above them you don't really learn much of anything. I could play 100 normal games and still not know how I would do in ranked with people around my actual ranked mmr.

Marothennan1 votes

If you don't already know how to lane against people your own rank then that's your problem, but in normals you can still practice last hitting with the champion, you can learn how some abilities interact with each other and you can learn combos, etc.

My Waifu Vanilla2 votes

Can also do that in practice tool.

Marothennan1 votes

Can't do it on people who move/dodge and react though.

My Waifu Vanilla3 votes

You specified: Last Hitting Interactions Combos

none of those require another player to be present. It's the reason I went to practice tool the second Aatrox came out so I can practice animation cancelling his abilities and what his ranges were without having to wait 24 seconds for E charges.

Marothennan1 votes

Well there's a difference between doing a combo on a target that moves and actively tries to dodge and one that doesn't since new Akali isn't point and click anymore. Also interactions aren't limited just to your abilities, by interactions I also mean interactions with other champions' abilities. Practice tool does have it's upsides like cooldown reset and such but it also has downsides until Riot expands on it.

You can't possible blame riot for somebody's shit attitude that is actually redicilous and another reason why riot will never take the community seriously.

DrCyanide1 votes

For their attitude, no.

For not banning new champions in Ranked for a week, which would mitigate the problem, yes. Riot bans new champions in the LCS for a week after they swap to that patch, extend the same policy to Ranked.

All it would do is make those kinds of games happen a week later. The kind of people who won't do a norms games of akali on release are the kind of people who only play ranked.

DrCyanide1 votes

No, that's not all it would do. It would give people who play both Ranked and Normal a chance to practice playing with and against said new champion before it matters. Those who are impatient to try the new champion will still play them in Normals first.

It would be interesting to see how many accounts only play ranked . I wonder if it ls to do with data between patches as well.

AirKingNeo1 votes

Not sure how you can blame someone clearly trolling as the fault of new champs not being banned in ranked for 1-2 weeks.

Imagine if he wanted to play Zoe or something, and that got banned and he trolled. Who do you blame then?

can anyone gift me a champion, its hard for me to get them.
