This Matchmaking is the worst I've ever seen

Matchmaking in this game is complete trash. I play a ton of games and i have never seen matchmaking so bad and have never seen a highly competitive game have such lopsided matches every single game. Seriously instead of making new skins and champions all the time maybe you Riot should actually balance your matchmaking system and make it better or at least logical. How is matching a team of level 8=11 against a team of level 16-24 even a thing?? Like mix the high level players into both team not all on one team. Every single game is completely lopsided. One team stomps the other team every single game there are virtually no balanced games where the teams are equally matched. And the in rates of one team are always way higher than the other teams as if its rigged from the begging. How can you have a match go 2 to 24 and call that a balanced/competitive match. Think I'm done with this game going to go play mobas that actually have decent matchmaking unlike this trash.

with the line "instead of making new skins all the time" you proofed that you have 0 idea of how a big company works. you know there doesnt only work 1-2 ppl right? there work like 1000-2000 ppl (pretty sure even more). and there are teams. 1 team is for technical stuff 1 team is FOR MAKING SKINS AND CHAMPS 1 team is for BALANCING etc.

also seriously you complain about lv 8-11 vs lv 16-24? dude get lv 30 before we talk ok? under lv 30 noone has any clue what they are doing, you can carry a game with 2 afkers in your team while you play ap ashe. and they do a pretty good job at letting smurfs play against other smurfs

also just asking: how can it happen that the 2nd worst eu team (in lcs) manages to beat the 2nd best eu team (in lcs), but then they lose against the 5th place team (in lcs)? yea ppl have bad days or ppl good days. shit happens man 2:24 are scores that happen all the time.

They should fire the balancing team then cuz they dont have any idea what they are doing and ive looked that up too and level 30 matchmaking is not balanced do your research tons of people are complaining how bad the matchmaking is in even ranked that they get matched againt way higher tier players or that they are on a team of solos against premade teams or professional teams. Those 1000 people sure are doing a great job at balancing alright.

ppl complain about stuff all the time. and you can be sure a lot of them have as much clue of big companies as you do. 0. so their complaint is just the usually "qq i dont know anything but everything is shit!!!" stuff.

also i try to give you an example of what you would call bad matchmaking ok?

you have a gold 5 player with a winrate of 40%. so he loses 60% of this games. would you say this guy deserves to be matched with other gold 5 players who have a winrate of 50% and higher? no? good because with such a low winrate you play against ppl around silver 2-3. because their skill level should fit yours, obviously you are too bad for gold 5 thats why your winrate is shit.

want an even better example? froggen a pro player made a smurf that he brought down to bronze 5. then he started to win games but everytime in his promoseries he left champ select. that counts as a lost game but not towards losing mmr. means he has a bronze 5 account!!! with a 90% winrate. thats why he gets matched against diamond ppl!!! or would you match him against other bronze 5 players where he could carry the game alone? if you dont know how the system works you could say "How is bronze 5, the worst and lowest rank supposed to win against diamonds really top tier players?" well now you know how.

The mmr system period is a poorly designed system as you clearly stated that an 80% win rate bronze can get paired against diamond tier. Which means his team who would also be bronze are way unfairly paired. It should match equally skilled teams against equally skilled teams as in if you win it should put you against someone harder till you lose and if you lose put you against someone easier till it balances you out. That way his bronze account would not be a bronze vs diamonds but would raise him to where he is supposed to be as a diamond vs diamonds. That would be far more logical than a hidden mmr that determines how lopsidedthe game is for the rest of the teamates.

WHAT YOU SAY IS WHAT THE SYSTEM DOES!!! "if you keep winning it should put you against harder ppl until you lose" froggen dodges games so he loses his promo and always stays bronze 5 BUT we won so many games THAT HE PLAYS AGAINST DIAMOND PPL are you trolling or dont you understand the system? he will always be bronze 5 because you have to WIN YOUR PROMO SERIES but if you DODGE your PROMOSERIES you LOSE your PROMOSERIES and thus will ALWAYS be bronze 5 WHILE YOUR MMR IS STILL DIAMOND!

you get it now? because if not i cant help you anymore you clearly have problems understanding the most basic things. you win = the system puts you against stronger ppl. you lose = the system puts you against weaker ppl. THIS IS WHAT THE SYSTEM DOES put if you win all the time but lose your promo... you wont climb the ladder, while still facing harder enemys BECAUSE YOU WIN most of the time!

Then perhaps Riot should realize the bug in their system that people can just trick the system into not placing them where they belong and remove promo series since they make absolutely no since in an mmr based matchmaking system and solve alot of balancing issues with such a simple change. If a system is based off of moving you up or down depending on your skill level mmr then why on earth would you putt in a promo series check anyways. When someone gets to 100 they should move up when someone gets to 0 they should move down. how much since does it make to make them get to 100 then beat 2 out of 3 matches as if it is a fighting game and then if they do advance and get to 0 it kicks them down both promo rounds plus 25 points... that makes absolutely no sinces

well i have to agree with that part at least. i think promos are stupid and i liked the season 2 system more where your "elo" was just a number. with 850 being bronze i think and 2000+ being diamond. not sure anymore.

The fact that one player is way too good for where they are and so the enemy team is matched to their skill level instead of to the entire team is why this matchmaking is broken. Obviously a good matchmaking system would realize he is way too good and put him with an equally skilled team against an equally skilled team. Not keep him with a way under-skilled team against a team of his skill. how unbalanced is that for the rest of the team that is no where near his level and has to rely on him for any chance of winning.
