ARAM is the only mode that has any potential for fun.

the rift is boring beyond putting you to sleep. even watching pro play on the rift is boring. Farming. Ganking. No real skill in either phase.

The problem with ARAM is that it only allows for skill when it is balanced ... when all the champions scale equally, and there isn't a huge difference between poke/burst. I.e., fun = close all game long. Otherwise it is no fun as well. If you can tell who is going to win from the selection screen and it plays out exactly like you suspect, there ought to be an immediate "this can't be fun, win or lose" button that just cancels the game without penalty.

Or better yet, riot could fix it so that random is balanced.
