@Meddler What happened to the Shyvana toplane changes?

Since the W nerf is going through (with also the jungle xp nerf too), what happened to the changes you were planning for toplane Shyvana? Any ETA? Unless you address the weaknesses she has, she will never be played in the toplane again, reasons being:

Early trading sucks big time after you nerfed Q early damage because of Sated Devourer, which you removed, but you never reverted the nerf.
She could have more %hp damage from her E debuff (like 3% instead of 2.5%), so she could deal with the tanks infesting the toplane with more ease.
The new passive doesn't help her at all, since she's stucked on the other side of the map and she has more dragon control as a jungler, it would be cool if she could get a stack out of Rift Herald or rather make other changes that outweight this weakness.
W could use a buff too toplane wise, but since it affects jungler clearing too much, you could buff the on-hit part of the ability instead, so it doesn't influence Jungle Shyvana by much. Another option could be smoothing out the way the ability scale, with maybe more damage early game and same damage later on (something like 30/40/50/60/70 instead of 20/32/45/57/70).

She wasnt intended to be a top laner, they want her in the jungle, so they will only balance around her jungling and not top laning, same thing with twitch, they want him to be an adc, not a jungler so they will only balance around him being an adc

How can you say she wasn't intended for toplane, when she had an entire season where she was played toplane only? They even said they were looking into making Shyvana more viable toplane in the future, but there were no updates after that comment.

shes already good up their still as she tramples some of the strongest laners there, such as yasuo, renekton and riven, and in all honesty I think they want to rotate her out of that lane completely, as the majority of her kit is focused around jungling

Yeah, she's so awesome that she's not even listed as a toplaner in any site because nobody plays her. Also, all the champs you listed completly shit on her, because she can't do anything against them early game and she can't build a lead off that with how weak her kit is. The reason why Jungle Shyvana is better than lane Shyvana is because she's allowed to safely scale to level 6 and beyond, where she can start being decent.

No offense, but I don't feel like an average silver Riven/Renekton/Yasuo knows what he's doing if he allows you to safely farm pre-6 as Shyvana.

When I joined the game, all I played was toplane Shyv...I NEVER saw her go jungle, only top, which is what my friends who had been playing told me was the meta

And then idk what they did but she sucks top now and I couldn't do it anymore

I feel the same way. When I started back in Season 3 I would almost always play top lane Shyvana and Mid lane Anivia even during times when Shyv top was considered "trolling" and would get people complaining I was going off-meta. I used to be really good with her but took a break from her back when she was extremely popular top lane (season 5?) and then when her hype went back down I picked her back up until top lane is infested with a lot of Darius Jayce or other annoyance Graves Teemo Quinn .

Now with all the breaks I took from her + the nerfs she had + Changes to Masteries in general I've been having so much trouble with her. Even though I started playing Anivia Shyvana around the same time, and I play top lane more than Mid lane the difference of Mastery I have between those 2 is a lot..Shyvana around 60-65k Points, and Anivia close to 180k points.
