So just wondering, should i play flex or normal ranked? whats the difference between them? also, for normal ranked, say I got silver last season. Can I play my placement games now? Will i be placed in a new rank based on my placement games, or does my rank depend on what i got in Season 6?

Tactical Poro1 votesFlex is a new queue where up to 5 players can go in as a party. Normal ranked (solo/duo) is where you can go in by yourself or with up to one ally. You can play your placements now but the season restarts fresh again once the pre-season ends. There's little effect from the games played now on your placements when the official season starts. Ranks depends on what you got last season. So figure you'll drop somewhere close to a tier unless you happen to win the majority of your placements, then maybe less.
