@Riot ,Any changes for Kallista planned?

Kallista has been at about a 44% winrate for a very long time. Players with 125+ games on her can not even reach a 47% winrate on her, which throws away any reward that comes from mastering her. I know she is on a tight leash for LCS balance reasons, but I don't think that small group of players should be dictating the balance of a champion for 99% of the other league players. At least it was fun to watch Kalista in the LCS, the other ADC's seem to be much less mechanical and tend to be less fun to watch in my opinion.

I think that she would be balanced if her auto damage scaled from 90% to 100% by the time she hits lvl 18, so at least then she could pass for a late game hypercarry like vayne. Or maybe tie the % auto damage to her ult levels. Maybe even make it so that she gets 100% auto damage ONLY when she is near the person she is binded with.

Idk what the solution to her winrate is, but I think she is in need for something to be done, its disappointing seeing such a mechanically difficult champion struggle even when the people who main her are playing her.

Kalista should not be buffed until her passive is changed.

Well what niche is she supposed to fulfill? if they get rid of her passive, then she will be discount twitch who is worthless unless her support is around. she would lack mobility, engage potential and any form of cc, and be one of the most unsatisfying adc's in the game. She would be extremely unviable then.

How should i know? I dont work at Riot. But the fact remains her Passive was a huge mistake and doesnt make sense thematically. If they were to replace it, it is Riot's job to give her a niche, not mine.

She needs a minor rework that ultimately replaces her passive with something else. They are free to tweak her kit around, but the passive has to go before she can be allowed to be strong again.

Did everyone forget what happened last time? She warped LCS around herself. She made solo-que miserable to everyone when she was FotM with her bullshit oathsworn that you cant refuse for some reason. She was on every game and you couldnt even contest her team's dragon/baron because she would always execute it from 2k HP.

I get it. She is in a bad spot, and it feels bad for people that like the champion. I really do. But the fact remains she was put in this state for a very good reason.

That thing needs a rework from the ground up with an entirely new passive before I'd even think about wanting to ever see her again. That kit is too damn toxic to exist in a balanced state, and Riot should have known that immediately after it was drafted.

Its not like her kit is super easy to use and that new players can pick her up no problem. You do have to admit there is some sort of skill involved when playing her. Also, she gets countered by point and click so hard that its almost not even worth playing her at all. Vayne can avoid point and click with her invisibility and self peel. Kalista has none of that and is reliant on a teammate being around to accomplish anything.

I do?? Rush Hurricane and shift click the ground. So mechanical. So skillful. You pressed E? Good job man! And don't tell me she has no self peel with those obnoxious fucking hops shoehorned into her kit.

if she were that easy then you would think that she would have a better winrate than 44%. People with 1-5 games only have a 40% winrate. The biggest sign that she is struggling is the fact that people with 125+ games on her cant even reach a 47% winrate on her.

Quit acting like sivir or ashe are any more mechanically intensive than her. that is just arrogant. You act like point and click abilities don't exist in the game. It is so easy to shut down a kalista that it isn't even worth playing her most of the time because champions like lucian or jhin just have a higher damage output than her, and are much more rewarding. Also, other adc's aren't so reliant on having a support nearby as kallista.

I'm willing to say that Draven is just about as hard as kallista. Draven is a snowball champ. Kallista is meant to be a late game adc. Draven succeeds at being a snowball champ, however, kallista falls short of being a late game champ when compared to kog maw or vayne.

Why do you think she has that low of a winrate? She's been gutted repeatedly for having such a poorly designed kit, and after all of the consecutive nerfs, she's finally not getting back up as if nothing happened. She can stay down until she gets a rework. And again you mention her over-dependency on a bonded target, where originally, she didn't even need them, and was oppressive enough on her own.

Probably after worlds. The last thing riot wants is a kalista dominating the pro scene again.

They will prob give her the yorick treatment, ignore her for years, finally give her a rework. Feels bad.

Just give her a little more attackspeed in late. That'd help.

I'm not sure attack speed is the problem, she soft locks with attack speed by the time she is in late game. With bortk and hurricane + W passive she ends up with about 2.00~ attack speed. Since it takes her time to channel her leap, it ends up being somewhere around 1.5 attack speed.

The only change Kalista should get is a rework. There is nothing fun about her for the other 9 players in the game.
