Not always, if you are your teams engage, Alistar and other hard engage support (images not bothered to find I'm to lazy) then you kind of Have to go in.

Yes and no. If you are playing Soraka sure, don't dive the enemy team. But if I am playing Leona it could go either way.

This depends on the game. If the enemy has hard engage or assassins then definitely stay with your ADC. If the enemy has a lack of assassins and initiation and you have the power to catch them off guard then by all means do it. If you are playing Leona and can hit the enemy ADC/middle laner with your E and proceed to stun 2 or 3 of them with your ult it is far more helpful than if you use your ult on 1 guy trying to bum rush your ADC.

Depends on the support, I focus on keeping Team mates alive, or Kill deny for the Enemy.

Following the ADC doesn't always yield the best results.
