What's up with these grievous wounds?

Okay, so I get that Riot wants AD champions to have access to grievous wounds outside of taking ignite. I guess that makes sense. I also know that the PBE is a testing ground and not everything that's on there will make it to live.

But what I'm wondering is how the hell is giving any AD champion the ability to give anyone they can autoattack 40% self-healing reduction a good idea? I get that Riot really doesn't seem to like Vladimir, because if I recall correctly, he's the one champion that Riot actually regrets releasing. I personally love him and he is my favorite champion in the game.

But it's not just Vladimir that's dumpstered by this 800g item; there's also Mundo, Aatrox, Nasus, pretty much any champion that relies on sustain to survive. It's almost like Riot wants everyone who isn't an ADC main to quit playing LoL.

Okay that was an exaggeration, yes, I know. But seriously though, it is ridiculous how much this is going to ruin any champion that relies on healing themselves. It will effectively delete Vladimir, Mundo, and Aatrox from the game.

Should Riot release ridiculously cheap items that basically remove no less than three champions from the game? NO!

This must not be allowed to happen. Down with the grievous wounds (or at least make it stack like suggested elsewhere)!

How to fix: Up the price Make it so only abilities proc this.. lesser for AoE abilities, full 40% for single abilities boom

An AD grievous wounds item should proc on auto attacks... it just makes sense...

If it's too strong (and it wasn't when executioner's calling was around as you rarely saw ADCs building that against Vlads/Mundo/Swain/Aatrox/etc... - the counter was always morello) then change it the logical way: make the healing reduction stack up with autos.

But seriously anyways, was always annoying as hell that even if I had a huge lead on the enemy Vlad as an ADC, if I tried to 1v1 him I had to massively outplay him to get the solo kill. I feel like Vlad will still be able to outduel most/all ADCs who've built this item as long as they're equally fed (and thus Vlad has a level advantage due to solo xp).

I don't know if riot is trying to balance Sustain around the presence, or absence of grievous wounds yet. But I would assume that Vlad, mundo, etc were balanced around it's absence. So the trick would be to buff them if the reintroduction of Grievous wounds was too much. (though we may not trust riot to do that.)

I'm a little more analytical about the idea of in build GW being removed while they reintroduce executioners calling. Yes any ADC can counter a sustain tank with this, But they need to buy into it first. and executioner's calling isn't going to be an Ideal first buy. (if there opponent can build raw damage) So they may not actually be able to counter the sustain tank until later in the game.
