Just figured there should be a thread about CertainlyT that isn't bitching and stuff. Like, he's just doing his job, people. He doesn't deserve any of the hate he's getting and he doesn't get any credit for the cool things he's done.

So, he designed Darius AND Thresh, two extremely iconic champions. Thresh is one of the most used supports in the entire game! He also designed Yasuo, who has possibly the most unique and interesting kit (at least in my opinion) out of all of the champions in LoL (these are the first things that popped into my head).

Honestly, I don't really love the Mordekaiser changes, but that's because I liked the old champion. What CertainlyT is doing is unpopular, but, who knows? Maybe it'll be awesome!

Basically, stop giving CertainlyT so much shit. I bet he's a great guy irl and no one deserves all of this hate. Y'all need to calm da fuck down and think. He's made some cool champions and what he's doing with Mordekaiser may be surprisingly fun.

tl;dr: Y'all who are hatin' on CertainlyT need to stfu.

The thing is, all of those champions you listed have downsides of their goodness. Darius is one of the most annoying lane bullies in the game. Thresh is picked so often because he has so many ways to help his team. He has a lot of CC, a save, and naturally scaling defenses. Yasuo has a ton of mobility, wind wall, and 50% Armor penetration on his ult. He also made Kalista, the most overpowered ADC in the game, and contributed to Zyra, who needed a hotfix shortly after release. Sure, he makes fun champions, but he doesn't make balanced or healthy champions.

In any case, Morde now having 325 move speed when he was weak to kiting with 340 move speed is bad, especially now that he's supposed to be laning against these kiters.

All champions have downsides. Yasuo is extremely difficult to pull off well, despite what many believe. He's strong, but not OP (unless you're REALLYYYYYY good), otherwise he would be used more.

Kalista, yeah. She was broken as hell for a while, but she's okay now.

Darius is annoying, but ridiculously easy to counter with ranged poke.

Thresh, while probably one of the best supports in the game, can be countered with MR and a QSS or tenacity.

Personally, I'd rather have fun champions than balanced or healthy ones. I play Zed, Vladimir, and Yasuo primarily. Sooooo yeah. His champions aren't the most balanced in the game (but what the hell is the balance team for then?), but he's definitely made some of the most fun champions, and no one gives him credit for that.

And, yeah, Mordekaiser's rework is probably nowhere near finalized, at least the level of the changes.

Kalista is still pretty OP, she has a lot of utility for such a mobility-heavy champion.

As for Thresh, QSS is able to counter a lot of things and is a common build, and I don't get how MR helps against him.

His champs can be both fun and healthy if these champions weren't given so much numbers or so much utility.

The Morde rework should be out in 5.16, which should only be a couple weeks away. At least, it will be if it wants to stay on level with the other Juggernaut reworks.

Meh, I'd say Darius is pretty balanced. He's borderline useless against ranged champions and weak late game, and is easily kited.

(except he's getting a rework sooooooooo (although the rework looks cool))

He's unbalanced as a lane bully because theres no way he can lose lane, and hes toxic to play against because u cant trade against him without losing half ur hp to a Q

Any melee without a gap closer gets kited to death. You can say the same for Nasus, except he isn't a lane bully and has to work for his power.

If you're ranged or have ANY ranged abilities, you can kill him. And, build some armor.

Nasus is shit in early game and he has his w.

stop using range as a weakness. Every immobile melee is weak to ranged. How many times do i have to tell u

Ummm. . . Yeah. That's how to counter him. Every AD assassin is weak to Zhonya's. Darius isn't anything too special (until the rework); just another immobile melee. Soooo yeah. He's also borderline useless late game (again, until the rework).

He keeps being my favorite champion designer. I might disagree with the road he put Mordekaiser on but that doesn't make him bad at his job.

Mos of his champion are ones that I really like to see on field and I recognise their mechanics to be good and potentially strong.

Huh? No? I mean that Darius is currently not super unhealthy, although he is getting a rework. I fail to see how I'm as bad as those who talk shit about him.
