Why does a gold star sometimes appear above my head?
Along with a chime noise. It's only certain games - is it a skin or some kind of gameplay feature I'm not aware of?

it means you reached the 
650 gold passive and left combat, so u get the speed boost when u land spells now
its to warn your teammates and let them know they have 1 deadweight cringy player on their team.
