Revert Guinsoos
Honestly, if the options are either A) Stick Phantom Strike to an item and bump the price by over 1000g and nerf other aspects of the item to balance it out or B) Remove Phantom Strike,
I think a large majority of the playerbase will choose B. Guinsoo's is so asstronomically ass right now. It's one of the most expensive items in the game, it has a very awkward build path even with the recurve bow, and it's been balanced.. in favor of ranged champions? Before, it took 8 autoattacks to ramp it up, but melee champs got 2 stacks on it per hit compared to ranged champions. Riot has split the item down the middle, resulting in it being 6 autoattacks for both melee and ranged. Melee champions that benefit from the item will have a hard time building up to that in fights since they're right in the middle of the action, while ranged champions just have an easier time building up to the phantom strike because it's fewer AAs required, and they can kite. The only champions I can see still relying on it is
, and even then, that's being pretty generous. He can just go back to trinity force and ruined king instead of building Guinsoos. Certainly no longer a first-item power spike. Guinsoo's Rageblade is likely going to be a 5th or 6th item on most champions now, which is so late in the game that you won't even be able to get all the components for it, resulting in.. Oh, look! Awkwardly sitting on 1-2 items that don't offer much of a benefit.
Please revert the Guinsoo's changes. Give us back the AOE, give melee champions back the 2-stack/per, and please just remove the Phantom Strike from the game if it's going to force so many restrictions and nerfs to an item. It's like what Irelia did to Tenacity.
P.S. This may kill what most people think of this thread, and get me a lot of downvotes, but I know that my opinion in this regard is highly unliked. Stacking jungle items aren't as toxic as people say they are.
