What's a fun champion to play?

So, im playing tons of games a day and im getting really bored, I really want suggestions on what I should buy (I have 3150 rp, however im willing to save up to 4800.)

I don't want a champion that can just carry. I mean I just played Lux 40/3 and there was just no thrill because the champion is boring me (I rebought her yesterday...)

So what's a fun champ to play? I was thinking of sona but I have a fear of playing support. I have a fear of bad adc's that will just feed, and duo queue is out of the question because all of my friends are feeders ;-;
