Why does it take forever to destroy a void portal? WTF RIOT

One game I was playing lulu support with sight stone, boots (Boots of mobility with Alcraity enhancement), and half build frost fang (Also a chalice of harmony). The other enemy support braum bought a void portal and it took me a good 1 min 8 seconds to destroy a void portal. I was auto attacking it and the amount of damage i was doing was 35 per auto attack. It took forever to destroy it. I literally just let go of my mouse and just stared at the screen waiting for it to be destroyed, while those minions kept popping up and hurting my tower. None of my abilities are working against it and pix bolt doesn't shoot at it. Another time there was another void portal I was like IGNORE I am not wasting a minute to destroy that. Luckily a zed came by and destroyed it in 4 sec (SO UNFAIR).

how did braum get like 2.8k for a portal when all you have is a sighstone(800) boot(325) and Frostfang(865..rather 500g really since they gave you free gold at the start of the game)

how exactly did you stand there for a minute without anyone comnig to klil you? where the shit was your adc? how could you abandon him

this sounds pretty early game too.. this entire story seems unplausible

Omg dont remind me. We were losing so bad that game so I didnt have a lot of money and I bought some wards too before buying sightstone. Oh I had a chalice to forgot that. Also the boots was Boots of mobility with Alcraity enchancement. Braum had so much assist and I guess he bought it early. My adc was dead and all the other champion were in different lane. So I was the only one in middle lane trying to stop this void portal that was placed in our jungle bush before it destroyed the third furthest turret from the nexus. All the enemy was so far away from me doing something. That why I was able to just stand their for a minute to destroy it. So lame.

You can play and build Lulu support on multiple different ways, how do you build her and what're the runes and masteries? I ask it because I probably play and build her completely different than you do.

I was going more of a tanky route. So Magic resist per level and attack resist per level rune. Red magic pen rune and move speed quint.

Masteries goes in majority in utility and the rest was in the middle tree.

I personally wish to avoid Morello/Athene's so I usually get a huge mana pool, max cooldown reduction and then go tanky. Meaning I'd get scaling CDR glyph's, 10% CDR from masteries, Iceborn Gauntlet, Archangel's Staff and then go full defensive. That's actually really effective. I consider Attack speed marks or hybrid penetration marks to be better options for her though.

Yes it has it's weaknesses but it just fits my playstyle perfectly. Yesterday I 1v1 killed the enemy team Veigar easily with this build, I still had Seraph's Embrace active and Guardian Angel passive after he died. There's also no kiting this build with her movement speed with Whimsey and her Glitterlance + Iceborn Gauntlet. Blue Ezreal won't escape me.

Your so mean. I know no one cares about Lulu. All I want to do is tell riot that their needs to be a way to destroy it faster for champion with low base attack damage. That to long to destroy a void portal.

I personally have no beef with Lulu, but your situation is petty and you are complaining about something that is not even a problem. If it was that early in the game, your ADC should have been there to help you take it down unless he had DC'd. Autoattacks are what are supposed to be used to take these things down, not spells. Much like it is difficult to make a painting without paint, not having the proper tools will cause any task to be more challenging.
