Can We Stop Telling People 'You Just Suck' Every Time They Have A Problem?

Honestly - this attitude just gets old, and is really rather childish. Many people have valid complaints, many people do not have valid complaints. We get that, we really do. However, even to a complaint that you might not think is valid, does not invalidate their complaint out of hand. It could be something that, while you do not have problems with, does not mean that there are not thousands of players who do have issues with it.

Example:

Situation - Kha`Zix is 9-2. Has only gone back twice and bought 3 items (including boots). Is 1 level above the individual complaining. Individual complaining is 8-5.

Complaint - 'I keep getting oneshot by Kha, wtf?!'

The General Response - 'He was fed, and you suck'

Reality - Kha`Zix is currently a bit overbuffed, and this is generally agreed. While, Yes, he is fed, he actually has almost no real massive lead over the complaining player. Listen closely - being fed, but not having actually bought items or really out leveled the other team, does not somehow magically change the stats of a champion.

Conclusion - The sad fact is that, out of 10 or so replies to the complaint, around 7-8 are basically telling the complainer that he is merely stupid, and uses a completely ignorant reason as to why, obviously, their complaint is invalid. Often this same arguement is used, that 'Well X was fed,' despite when one looks at the match history... they hadn't really bought any items to enhance their performance, they are not really in that big a lead gold wise, and thus are on a fairly equal footing. Thinking a high KDA makes you more powerful, simply by having a high KDA, is the same logic that says Decals on Race Cars make them go faster.

Let's try to be less assholish to each other, yeah?

“You suck” can be abrasive and technically reportable as negative behavior.

That’s why I prefer “git gud”. It’s nonabrasive to the ego, encourages performance in skill, and feels great to say.

Actually made the post to prove a point. It, and everything I say in it, is likely to be downvoted into oblivion.

I mean I agree, telling people they suck is kind of demeaning. They should try and git gud, though.

:p I am a firm advocate of the idea that most of the time, OP champions are champions that people can't be bothered to learn how to deal with, so yeah, I rather agree.

I prefer wukongs taunt.

"improve your skills, then find me again."

So 8-5 guy is not around his team and getting one shot by KhaZix?

Currently you can be at Cait AA range and be considered 'isolated.'

However, really not the point here.

that's because in most cases they would complain about the wrong part, or you look at their builds and they didn't have any defensive or situational items

Indeed! Which is when that should be pointed out and left. However, as I said to someone else, this post is likely to hit max downvotes lol. Simply for asking people to deal with each other nicer.
