How do you feel about AP tower damage scaling?

Do you think it's a good thing and why? I always find it odd when a full build ap is basically nuking a tower with autos. I can understand why it's in the game but I remember when you had to get a lich bane if you wanted to kill towers with ap.

mage bias is hard core in this game and mages shouldn't be able to wreck towers even half as well as they can now

So you think it's a good idea to lock out half of the entire roster from the "privilege" of pushing towers and ending the game, ie the core gameplay?

Nah.

Contrary to popular belief the role of an ADC is to provide range and safety of dps to Towers and neutral monsters It's not to get a penta 1v9 and solo carry the game it's a strategic element to snowballing

AP champions lacked Turret damage with the exception of champions like ziggs that had in-built auto modifiers that proc on turrets

When riot wanted to break up the 100% ad marksmen requirement they decided to have champions transfer a portion of their AP to auto damage to turrets it wasn't the base stat nerfs to adcs that broke that 100% requirement those were there to artificially force people to try out mages in the bot lane. a placebo nerf if you will

Every role in the game has seen vast shifts in champion viability except for ADCs The only shifts in power in the ADC role were between specific marksman champions and not actual types of champions

With the addition to convert ap to auto damage to turrets ADCs are no longer a must have and thus good for the game

now some champions are kinda insane with it but oh well ziggs and veigar 1 shotting turrets it's just an unfortunate side effect

I feel it makes ap lichbane/nashors tooth weak items respectively and the users of these items to prevent them from just instagibing turrets, along with a lot of ap champions being held back because theyre kits come late game 1 and 2 hit turrets (ap lucian with lichbane nashors tooth can take a turret down in like 5 seconds at just 2 items its kinda halarious same with ziggs) but it results in FULL AP builds lacking diversity and being entirely based on ap, the larger the percentage ap scaling conversion gets the more RAW ap is better than utility and pen and the more raw damage becomes more important than cc.

It also breaks apart the balance between ad and ap ranged champions, adcs have to do mage lvls of damage to not become unviable completely, and mages have to do lower damage to not be broken early so much they can easily get to late game as ap>ad at turret taking with nashors/lichbane/guinsoos being able to effectively double/triple or quadruple even quintuple the scaling against turrets.

Before there was a power disparity between ad and ap, where ap was teamfight power, and ad was turret/objective power. ---------------Now that ap champs have turret taking power AND teamfight power (or had at one point) everything else non magey needed compensation------------------------

what did that do? -----------------Tanksassins, Juggernauts with cc, Demolish rune, Inting sion, Adcs being nonexistant OR 1v5 strong (kaisai/prenerf vayne) Nasus' 3 paragraphs long R description and quadra stacks on cannons/monsters yata yata yata etc. Any burst thats not 1 shot better have HARD aoe cc, or its not viable. Any sustained damage champion better have tank stats and strong post 1st back or its not viable. Etc.
