Irelia gets gutted because she's "too strong mid" her W literally doesn't do anything do AP damage anymore. No shield passive, lowered MR speed, changed passive to 5, smaller stun distance and longer cooldown.

But T H I S is 100% okay in the jungle solo queue. Never mind that it's very unfun to deal with especially in solo queue where there is limited ward control and you may nor may not have auto filled jungler who can't deal with him. But it's totally 100% fine. Working as intended.

Just sits top making cry like an anime fan on prom night.

Irelia was nerfed because of how oppressive she was. You couldn't play traditional mid laners against her. There were very few champions you could pick that could hold their own in lane against her.

Jungle Twitch is obnoxious but I wouldn't argue he's oppressive.

Irelia was pick ban in pro play and masters+ for a very long time. Twtich jungle isn't

Twitch is literally 45% winrate jungler that gets fucked by everybody in this meta. Assassins counter him, tanks counter him, mages counter him. All you have to do is not lose composure and stay calm, then you will probably win vs him. Twitch without Lulu is only good at cheesy ganks and is not even good in late game, when he should be op. Then you have Twitch with Lulu, that is quite strong, but still can be beaten if he isn't good at micro management.

I can win 60+% matches on Twitch in gold elo but it is hard in plat. I can do a lot more in plat with Shaco, who is garbage atm so I think that Twitch is even worse than garbage right now. Also in jungle if I take Hecarim, Vi or any meta champion I can play better than on my otp champion, Shaco. Fuck I hate Riot games. I tried so hard to learn those champions and they fucked both of them.

If you're playing Darius you're asking to get poked and bullied. You know you're picking a slow immobile champion with very short range abilities, and somehow champions like Kennen are at fault, because they counter Darius?

I get the mentality of League players. Everyone wants their favourite champion to be the strongest and everything else to be weak and useless. That's why Hashinshin throws a tantrum every time something that's not a melee fighter beats him. But tell me, if every champion had the same skill and attacxk ranges for the purpose of balance, how diverse would the game be?

I welcome every and any "non traditional" lane pick, because that's what keeps the game diverse. I'd rather lane against a Swain/Ryze bot lane than the typical ADC/Heal slave every game. I want to be left surprised by what the enemy picks and how they play instead of knowing what i'll fight based on the current trend and enforced META.

Also, the pro play scene is a minority and Riot should not balance around them. Too many champions have been handicapped because of the LCS and its wicked ways.

I don't want to see this manage to get into toplane. This thing healed 900 hp at one point and >800hp two seconds later. 20% missing hp heal is a mistake gut the base up the scaling. (two procs off 20% missing actually) ######yes we had no grievous yet, had to get voids for the three people with 2+ mr items and vlad warmog + spirit visage first.

why are you talking as if irelia wasn't blatantly op for quite some time and quite literally dumpstering everything in the game because her numbers were high and her kit was overloaded as hell? she had access to literally everything you would want on a character without having any of the weaknesses that come with those strengths. and the "high skillcap" argument falls flat when the character is so batshit broken that even people bad at her were rolling over teams. it took months of constant nerfs to get her in a position that wouldnt be considered utterly broken.

Jungle Twitch has been a thing since at least Season 2 and is just cheese. Might as well complain about Rengar laning.

Yeah, it's pretty oppressive, but as long as they aren't chainfed they've committed to playing a role that's really sub-optimal and is shut down just by being cautious.

Any champion being in any lane should never be considered a problem by riot. It can be considered a problem by players, but they'd be wrong. When Riot does it, it's more than wrong; it's actively sabotaging their game by trying to enforce a balance model that only applies if players follow it.

I remember facing Irelia in the mid lane. This shit was very toxic.

If anything, lanes should be locked to specific champions only, meaning Vel'Koz, Viktor, Veigar can ONLY be played mid, Darius, Irelia, Sion can ONLY be played top, and so on and so forth.

"but...but...this will lower diversity!" You think? Diversity is doing more harm than good these days. Item builds can have diversity to say the least anyway. Yet again, one can queue for a specific role for that specific champion and go to a different lane...like some dude queues top, locks in irelia, and goes mid.

Another fuckin hydra problem with this bullshit.
