Who actually beats LB?
??????
??????
Bans
Galio is a good pick against her. Especially if you practice enough to where you can ult her when she jumps on you.
No offense, but this is a bit of a silly comment. There isn't really a lot of practice involved here. The only variable here is reaction time, which arguably has as much to do with network latency as anything.
Tbh it's unlikely to work. Most lb are just smashing they key and galio's ult animation, as short as it is, is still longer than lb's poofing back.
That's why you anticipate her moves; many (not all) LBs have a tendency to telegraph. If you notice their patterns when they go in to engage you can predict her combo and throw out a Q or prepare to Ult as soon as her dash animation starts. Considering that LB is a combo mage any player should be able to react even in her short windows, the question is what you do in those windows. Galio isn't the worst choice.
But I'm kind of biased.
Support Karma on my team decided to take on LB, the both tethered each other at the same time, while energy blasts were flying. I don't think karma would have won, but she held her own until I arrived to blow up LB with Galio :D
Morale of the story, if support Karma can hold her own, it stands to reason that mid Karma just might be able to do it :P
Anything that can out sustain (or shield) her Distort, Q-R, blink away poke.
Anything with Instant, targeted CC. (Or just Instant CC(Except for Twisted Fate. His Laning Phase is too weak to deal with Assassins))
Long ranged poke champions can beat her by farming from turret. (But only if they out scale her.)
(karthus is probably the best one for this, just because Rylai's is a better item on him then other poke mages.)
Other assassins, as Crest Knight said below.
Anything that can kill her at level 1, before she gets distort? ???
do you actually play karth or are you making assumptions? When I play karthus vs leblanc I have to farm under my turret, if she freezes the lane I can't do shit and I can't trade nor poke. As karthus you have no kill pressure and the only thing you can do is pinging mia and clear the wave as fast as you can. I suggest you to not follow her roams on you could get 1shoted
Karthus loses that match up. However, he does outscale and can go RoA -> Abyssal, so if you can avoid making mistakes in the first 15~ minutes you should be fine.
I suggest spell vamp quints, Doran's ring start, Exhaust + Flash.
well karthus outscales 99% of the champions in league, so it doesn't matter the matchup if your goal is to outscale with karth xD thing is in low elo LB will roam and destroy your team if they aren't prepared for that while all you can do is push mid and wait
I have never lost a single game against
with

Or anything that can outplay her jump. There might be a couple people who will mention
.
When you actually are skilled with Kat it's extremely easy to beat LB with Kat. You simply watch her q's and let them hit you while you do your normal farming and such. But when she does use her q on you be immediately ready to shunpu either her directly if she is max range or a minion opposite side of where she will jump to. She will usually press Q then try and W. Shunpu dodging W properly then trading LB with your Q/W will win the match up with ease.
What he said basically, I really enjoy this lane as Kat. Usually Leblancs in the Elo I have played in (high gold-high plat) always want to Q before they jump on you with W. Whenever I think they are about to use their combo on me I will just Q and shunpo out of their W hitbox. You will usually take some Q's from Leblanc this way but if you max Q you can poke back while Leblanc has to worry about going oom.
Takes a little bit of practice but after a while you will realize this is a very simple lane, and post 6 if she misses her W then you can all in her.
Vladimir doesn't do half bad against her, he's naturally durable enough to withstand her bursts better and can whittle away at her with point and click harass without worrying about mana.
Vladimir has no outplay potential and a terrible early game. Their power spikes and kits give this matchup firmly to LB.

I've seen Morde against LB a few times, and I've seen it go both ways, so it seems to be a skill matchup to some degree. That said, Morde vs. LeBlanc, assuming equal skill, is a pretty bland lane. Morde has no CC, so he doesn't have much kill potential against her without a gank or her committing when she shouldn't, but as long as you keep your shield up and you're careful about not getting snared too much, she can't really burst you down either.
This! It's more of a skill matchup! If the enemy LB is smart, she will constantly poke Morde with autos and Q + W combos. Mordekaiser will be forced to farm at turret or risk getting bursted by LB.

I've played that lane twice, and from my experience, Morde's positioning has a lot to do with whether or not he dies. If you can keep behind minion waves, it becomes much harder for her to harass you. Casting your shield on a minion for maximum shield gen, and then spamming E and Q, makes sure that you stay at full shield as much as possible. If you leave yourself open, she will snare and burst you. It also depends on how fast Morde gets his
, at which point his laning becomes much easier.
You can't rely on spamming E in lane though, at least since his Health regen nerfs. Trust me, this is the only champion I play (main). This lane became much harder since that Morde change. You gotta time your E hits on LB carefully now!

I generally only use the E if I can catch my lane opponent in it. Once I get my Hextech though, all bets are off.
laugh as she heals you
ahri, zed, yasuo, talon would be good choices for trying to 1v1. (assuming talon starts flask + health pots +42mr, he can force lb out of lane with rake alone)
you can manage with more ranged champions than her like xerath and ziggs and you can just avoid her altogether and your team can compensate and just back off when shes mia, and suddenly you outscale her after laning phase.
otherwise its going to be "make sure i dont feed the leblanc"
Personally, I find
works. That's because When she distortions in, you can silence her upon landing and she can't do anything (even return to her original point). With AP, your Q heals you for a lot which lets you stay above her burst point. The problem is you have to be fast enough to catch her with your E.
I had also success with Soraka, but while in one match she wasnt problem for me in another match she get fed on me under tower, Soraka might works when she doesnt know what you can do but once she realizes she can win easily. Its quite hard to fight her and you cant really farm vs her. I prefer starting spellthief on Soraka as it allows me to get 1 health and 2 mana pots + gold for poking (as a small compensation for lack of farm) and mana regen.
Anyway, anything can work if you will hug tower and dont let her kill you but the problem is that is shes not stupid she will roam -> you cant follow her, she will oneshot you in any bush, you cant push -> she will oneshot you once she go back. And she will take kills on other lanes. THUS, the best pick vs her is something that can either kill her, or push hard without worries of getting ganked.
So far what Ive seen to work vs LB is:
,
,
. Diana looks as best pick overally, LB cant oneshot her, while Diana can oneshot her, push better and can roam as well as her. Heimer will be pushing all the time and she wont be able to kill him solo, ganks are usually at least 1 kill for Heimer and when he get Zhonya its hard to gank him at all. Syndra matchup can go both ways, she is usually able to kill her, but so is LB and early gank can decide lane. Syndra also cant roam so well.

Cant Juke this ulti boiii >:D
Edit:
Good luck getting close to me without spending 1 Disortion just to dodge to the side.
you misunderstand me, im talking about syndra. I should have been more specific :(
That makes sense now.
Against LeBlanc's I usually pick Talon. He is a great pick against her. I did alright against one with Annie as well. Wait for LeBlanc to use her W then drop Tibbers and Combo her. You will usually kill her with it.
I've beat out a LB with a AP Kog
Kat makes it into a "whoever jumps first is gonna die" matchup.
Faker's LeBlanc has been unbeaten for i think 2 or 3 years now. . . 12-0 in record. . .
if you can't play better than the other mid laner, ban their champs...
or any champ you do not want to go against at least
I like lulu
someone who can push waves hard early. By denying her early farm, her mid game (biggest strength) is delayed or weakened.
Id say about this list are champions at least I know I can beat leblanc in early/mid/late game with
http://champion.gg/champion/Leblanc
and according to this leblanc has a pretty poor win rate against the following

As far as tatics to if the enemy team picks leblanc to counter pick you. If you are playing as
or any champion that has alright wave clear. Just keep pushing the minions into her tower and she will have to blow all her mana just last hitting. Leblanc has really horrible wave clear compared to other characters and if she is busy using spells on minions she cant use them on you.
You don't beat Leblanc in lane. You survive Leblanc in lane.
As long as you know how to play against her, most champions can beat her.
Use charm when she dashes in so she takes a lot of damage
If you can play Anvia really well it shouldn't be too hard if you sit back and use your spells, especially if you can hit your stun and poke.
Make sure you stay back and after she uses her dash, you can drop your combo on her. When you don't have stun up just sit back, and wait until you get your stun back up.
I have had a little trouble against Azirs as LB if they know how to play him.
You have to know her cool downs like her W has a 14 second cool down so you can always poke her or stun her when she comes in.
She is a little hard to kill as LB because she is a little bit tanky.
I don't think I have ever beat a Galio in lane as LB without jungler help..
Turrets cover you so when she does dash in, she takes a lot of damage from them.
Most of the time you can burst her down with Kat with your full combo since LB doesn't build MR. Just try not to take too much poke and your Shumpoo is a good escape against her dash.
Level 6 you have a good chance to kill, especially if you can poke her a lot and stun her when she dashes.
Stay far back, and when she does try to turret dive you, you can stun her so she takes tower.
Morg's stun lasts for ever plus she does so much damage.
Riven mid can negate her damage with Riven's shield most of the time, plus LB is fragile.
If you can Swain really well, he does pretty well against her.
Since Mord has that shield that blocks out damage from spells, he is good against her.
This one is a toss up since it depends on both your skills and the LB's skills.
Make sure you build MR since LB's typically do not.
Banning lb beats lb, balanced game. Then again I still rather play vs lb than zed a few patch ago ;p
Hmm but if they nerf lb were out of op mid heroes to complain about... (or do we start complaining about annie and then watch her q become a skillshot and then we can wonder more about why brand exists)
Karma is my #1 pick against LB. People truly underestimate the damage that Karma has. Add in her heal from Manta'd W and her shield and you easily win most, if not all trades, against LB. I must say that I am very biased though. Karma has always been one of my favorite champs, even pre-rework.
Well I don't think there are many lanes Karma would lose as she is really strong in lane and pretty good mid game... Though she does fall of rather hard because she only has 3 abilities 2 normal abilities and 1 empowered ability
Morgana. Better wave clear, shield, and a stun you can hit while she dashes. If she roams, follow her. In my opinion, Morgana brings more to a 2v2 or 3v3 fight considering she can shield anyone from Leblancs main source of damage and has that nasty snare. Shut down her farm and her ganks so she'll be almost useless.

Basically anyone who can click on you once you get close enough and basically say "SCREW YOU!"
Anybody who can push her under the turret.
Morgana, a well played Brand, Karma, Annie is decent, Lux can stay out of range forever, Malzahar, Veigar, Galio...
I used to beat her all the time with
and
....
Librarians because they can read LeBlanc's dashes.
