Is that unlike most assassins, Kha'Zix doesn't have reliable assassination capabilities. His main source of damage is tied to a passive that basically does nothing if the enemies are grouped together. Compare that to assassins like Fizz, Leblanc, Zed, Katarina, even Kassadin. They all have reliable burst damage if ahead, some even being good when behind. Unlike them, Kha'Zix isn't good ahead or behind, unless the enemy just doesn't group

but kha requires you to stay togather while amumu/sej will totaly destroy your entire team with a massive aoe stun if you stay togather
making your enemy team incredibly buthurt like group up nooo sej ult but kha!!!

That's why Kha'Zix works well with AoE compositions.
With a few changes, Kha'Zix could be changed into a champion that could supplement the lack of 1x1 potential of teamfighting-oriented teams.

i dont see what changes he needs lest say theres a brand mid and a twitch adc
this pretty much says dont get cought out togather cause loads of aoe coming but than if you position to far from eachother kha is gonne slaugther you seems like he does the job quite wel already ? its more of a matter when to pck him i think ?
this sucks but it works like this with anny champ i mean everyone has counters or comps he works better in

hes completely overwhelming when you are alone but underwhelming when you have friends as assassin should be
his kit is fine it just needs changes nothing major
For example having a dynamic isolation passive
where you are always isolated but having more allys near you will reduce the damage from him
or another version where the closer you are to a ally the less damage you take up to no bonus damage taken
isolated q can reach max damage of 1500 on a below 3 second cooldown
