Viktor? Explain please. His ult is used always for waveclearing the wave and getting the 1250g Hex-core, it's way to unreliable to be used as 100 unless the gey fights in it for all the ticks.

If you think Viktor uses Ult for wave clearing, instead of his, you know, made for wave clearing E, you're thinking wrong.

If you think Viktor has an E upgrade before 6 you're clearly not thinking straight, also his E is at level 3. Ult clears faster and he can start recalling while the ult is clearing the minions.

I'm pretty sure I could count on both hands the number of times I have seen a viktor use his ult solely for wave clear in the 6 seasons I have been playing.

He's not forced to do it of course, but if he's low on health and/or mana, that's an option, since if he's against someone like Zed he's probably going to die if he sticks around to auto every minion after using his E. Also some people don't even think about using their ultimate as waveclear because it's very unusual, but with Viktor? His ult is way too slow in dealing damage. They did it sometimes in competitive.

It's still not fair to say it is always used for waveclearing. It has a lot of burst damage and sustained damage, and with a rylais sticks super well. It isn't the best ult at level 6, I give you that; but it has much more potential than you give it credit.

Rylais is an item of the past for most Viktor mains, some still build it but it's just doesn't make Viktor retardely strong anymore so people prefer to get Lich Bane first item now.

Potential? A lot. But in practice? They flash out of it or they slow you and so it gets slower or they ult you back with a stronger instant ultimate (Annie, Syndra, Ori). It's good against Xerath, Vel and very dumb Twisted Fates since you can stop their ultimates but in general using it at 6 to "100-0" (the thing it was said it could do) it's not going to happen.

In teamfights and early skirmishes that's another very different story, but in a early 1v1 in lane? Just, no, you need help from your jungler to keep them in for that long and at that point it's not a real 100-0 anymore.
