Alright, fucking rework tryndamere already.

I think the biggest problem is you have to force someone on your team to babysit the lane he's in so he doesn't solo end the game by crushing all the towers. Playing top against trynd actually just sucks the fun out of the game sometimes because you don't actually get to play the game with the rest of your team.
same with nasus tho
Honestly there are loads of champions that can pull off this strategy, just not as simply as Tryn. Their waveclear and damage costs mana while Tryn is resourceless so this simple strategy is easiest for him to pull off.
Think about it: Tryn's innate crit chance doesn't affect towers, he has no strong waveclear ability, he has no AS boosts in his kit and he usually doesn't benefit from a good chunk of his bonus AD while pushing on his own. He does not seem like the best candidate for splitpushing except for the fact that he lives 5 seconds longer than any other carry.
I think Tryn can be a perfectly good team player. There are a lot of good tank items now that he benefits from, namely the classic Spirit Visage as well as some others, and his W in teamfights can be really handy. Riot just needs to make top lane towers not made out of paper mache so that nobody, including Trodnomore, can pull off this particularly brainless strategy. There is nothing fascinating about seeing whether or not your team can win a game 4v4.
Edit: I didn't mean to reply to Exiled Cat haha. I agree with what he says entirely if anyone's wondering.

His E and Shiv proc, since he synergizes with crit really well, instantly clears minion waves. He's a crit-based melee ADC, so his build shreds turrets just as quickly as any other ADC. His W slow and E provide the perfect escape if the team (or at least 3 people) collapses on him, and his ult lets him 1v1 anyone that tries to stop him solo.
You can't crit towers. While yes, he clears towers at the same rate as the average marksman ADC, those ADCs are often busy doing teamfight things that Tryn can't do.
He doesn't splitpush because he's magically better at it than anyone else, or even particularly good for that matter. He splitpushes because it's one of the few things he does well.
lol. building trynd tank is like building braum attack speed for his magic damage after the passive and jungling with him.
Hey man, sometimes it's a good strat. The Heart may be the strongest muscle, but Braum literally punches through mountains, so beefing up his biceps is a close second.
Besides, you don't just go full attack speed, you just get Wit's End and Guinsoo's, everything else is tank + Titanic. Once you get Guinsoo's up and full Wit's End stacks you can stun people in like, Q + 2 autos with no help required. I'm not memeing I swear
[slayer-jinx-wink]
I actually got carried by an on-hit braum in URF once.
######or maybe it was the Jayce he was laning with :p
Who would go on-hit Braum in URF over AP Braum in URF? I have the Santa skin, I would want to cram as many Christmas trees up the enemy team's backside as I could manage and I'd make 'em feel it.
I mean uh... crap, crap, supposed to be a nice guy, I'm Braum, uh, Mother always said, don't Impale the enemy team mercilessly with pine trees lose, right uh, don't lose.
All right, give them 15 minutes, they'll quickly rework him and hotfix it just because you demanded it so sternly.
Or just break his knees and make him unplayable or atleast not spammed like he currently is.
That won't work. He'll just use his sword as a crutch and be even faster.
AKA every bronze player's dream
"rework all the people who counter my main and buff my main because I need him to get me to challenger."
Eh that's not how tryndamere works. I agree that tryndamere needs a rework, but your post is fucking garbage.
If he's so absolutely powerful, you should main him. Work your way up to challenger. Or, the more likely outcome is that you'll find many people able to outplay his ultimate. Then, armed with the knowledge that he can be defeated, study what they did against you, and act like them.
its not his ult......
Right click the lane and press r. Nice man.
The post I replied to seemed to indicate that his ult was a main portion of the problem. What the specific problem, or annoyance (as Angus the Bear states) is does not change my advice. If a character is absolutely powerful, then you should main them. Doing so will either teach you their weaknesses or get you into challenger.
Man, if only there was a champion who, in the mid and late game, could lock him down for the majority of his ult and then set up the kill for when it ends.
It'd be a shame if they were to remove that design because it "limits design space" or some nebulous bullshit like that.

i never ever recall calling malz bullshit XD
now he just feels like shit to play.
You must not have been here in Season 4/5. He was as bullshit as they get, especially for assassins. He was a nightmare to deal with in the Zed era of League.
been around since pre s3 and there are worse champs.
So you say have a anti-fun laner be left alone just to beat a anti-fun laner, Cause i say no to that idea. How about they try to make them both not cancer to play against in the first play and be done with it.
This is gonna be annoying to explain from the ground up.
TL:DR the reason they can't do that is because it creates a perpetual arms race.
So let's start here. Why is someone like malzahar or tryn considered an anti-fun laner? They aren't particularly strong. In malzahar's case it was said, it's because he's not very "interactive". Though now we need to decompress that word a little bit. What does it mean, in a game like league to be "interactive". Generally, it's going to be due to him having a low tempo of play, and punishing champions who try to play at a higher tempo of play.
Other low interactive champions include ones like
exc.
So say that you make these champions which are not very interactive not "anti-fun". What would that involve? It would involve removing their ability to punish high tempo play. In which case, you've backed yourself into a corner design wise. You no longer can create low tempo champions, because high tempo is inherently better due to having higher precision of champion control. Yet, you can't create a high tempo champion which punishes high tempo play, because then their only weakness (being force into low tempo play) have been forced out of the game. So the only real option is to create high tempo champions which don't punish high tempo champions. Which basically just means that the higher tempo champion with the higher impact kit will be superior.
Now, the best solution to this problem would be to make high tempo champions more flexible in their playstyles. The only problem is that riot is actively preventing this by trying to increase class and champion "identity", which is directly counter to champion flexibility as it pigeonholes players into fewer play styles per champion.

Right click and presses R too.
And she's in line for an update (paired with Morgana). I can't wait to see what they do.
Most likely keep her basically the same but with less support-ish abilities. Her ult will have to stay if Riot intends to keep the angel theme still going.
I'm more interested in Morg tbh, but I mained her for a while.
my bronze detector is tingling
Literally every item Tryndamere likes either got buffed or cheaper this patch. His win rate shot up and his play rate probably will later when people realize how sleeper OP he is right now.
That's not the worst part about him. You literally need to be scared of the game going past 30 minutes. If he so much as gets a small lead in any way he will start to snowball so hard. He scales insanely. You need so much CC and lock down for him..
I didnt go into details, but yes. That is a huge fucking problem.
Complaining about Trynd when
exists?
2 seconds goes by like that compared to tryndamere
though it can be annoying if she ends up with the right build
That's a minor tradeoff when you consider she can give her ult to someone else, and it works without you needing to be at 1 HP. Without taking into account the rest of her kit.
When you collapse on a splitpushing Kayle, she dies. When you collapse on Tryndamere he has a 50/50 chance of just dashing/flashing/ulting away, healing on some jungle camps, and getting right back to pushing another lane.
When you force a teamfight against Trynd, players with any sort of competency make it a 5v4. When you force a teamfight on Kayle, she has a decent chance of ripping your entire team apart with ranged hybrid AOE damage. We can all agree teamfighting is stronger this meta since turrets are made of paper anyway, Trynd just happens to be one of the only viable splitpushers right now.
His kit is just toxic in general.
someone got clapped
Actually play the character and come back.
I just tried learning tryn to expand my character pool, it's not nearly as easy as you think it is.
easy no, but people that know how to play him are absolutly annoying as fk to play against.
Would rather they went back through and fixed the handfull of shitty reworks before they go and play around with more. If they continue at this rate of reworking champs they are going to piss off A LOT of people, simply because their rework success rate seems to be 50/50. Which is fine but they need to address the ones that didn't hit the mark.
I agree though, Tryns kit is out dated.
Idk about trynd but we better nerf irelia.
Uhh, just incase you hadn't noticed, its 2017..
Wake up to the times grandaddy!
Right click the lane and press r. Nice man.
Not sure if talking about Trynd, or ADC's.
It's not really tryn. I don't have a problem with a melee carry that literally embodies the fervor keystone; it's crit if anything that needs an overhaul.
Crit isn't even the problem. The problem is that his entire gameplan after the laning phase ends revolves around not directly interacting with anyone on the enemy team. He just does nothing but push and run away.
No, I mean I can understand him getting an eventual rework, but most of the cancerous traits during lane phase are entirely because of RNG and crit gimmicks. Splitpushing will always be a viable strat, I see no reason why certain champions can't excel at it; though it would be great if they could give him better teamfighting as well.
you sound like one of the people who would rather just have 200 different variations of the same exact overloaded champion.
I don't think you have played against a tryndamere very much either. He's been my alt and I do way more than that. The only time something like that happens is if his opposing laner decides to give you a free lane and afk.
