Is the new Pantheon rework OP?

I've been playing new Pantheon in the support role and he's insanely good. He can jump in to stun an enemy and then use E move to make himself immune to damage for like 6 seconds! That's insane!

Think about tanky supports who often have shield or defense moves like Leona or Braum. None of them have a move that makes them immune to damage. That makes Pantheon a top tier tank support. The scariest thing about playing any tank support is the moment when you jump into combat and everyone attacks you with their best abilities. But as Pantheon, you can jump into battle and it's super safe, and you stun and deal good damage.

So does anyone else think he's OP? Tell me what you think.

He's fine. Different playstyle/strengths than old pantheon, and I heard a couple pre-rework pantheon mains claim he's not as good anymore. Don't exaggerate though. His invulnerability lasts for 1.5 seconds. Or 2.5 if it's empowered. From one side.

Eh, his W is super easy to counter if you have any hard CC skillshots (Flay, Cho Q, hell even Alistar can stop it) so it’s not that great.

Plus his damage immunity isn’t behind him, and he moves slower when backing during it so running around him (especially since the ability barely hurts) is pretty easy.

As a support he’s not gonna get empowered abilities often because he shouldn’t be autoing minions and he’ll waste mana spamming abilities.

BTW, it's also important to look at win rates. Right now, Pantheon has a 49% win rate, while Braum is **lower **with 45% win rate.

Surprisingly, both Leona and Sona have a 51% win rate (I like Leona a lot, but I thought Sona would have been higher).

If he ever gained any traction as a support people would immediately learn that Blitz hard counters him. You don't have anything to help your adc if they get hooked, you are squishy yourself if hooked, and his ult interrupts your E so you basically have no damage immunity post 6. You become a glorified melee minion with a single target stun.

Yet another good champion, being said is OP by idiots in the SUPPORT ROLE.

Just like they did with Swain, now panth and Swain are SUPPORTS, lol.

So funny if it wasn't so sad.

None of them have a move that makes them immune to damage

Except Braum's E literally does. And so does Taric's R. new Pantheon's lacking in his old passive block (thankfully) and his R is kind of a joke. He becomes a walking Q midgame, and if you don't get to 25% he's kind of worthless. Panth is actually super bad, but then so was the old one and they didn't change him all that much so go figure.

The new Pantheon is meh.. old Pantheon was more fun.

Sure he was only good "sometimes" but when he was good he was really good. I miss being able to jump on someone and totally shred them. The new shield mechanic is nice, but I dont think it was worth giving up 50% of his damage. Actually if im being honest I preferred the old passive shield too.

He better fits his role now. But if I was going to rate him against other bruiser types.. he is somewhere in the middle of the pack, if not below average. There is nothing scary about new pantheon.

Needs a buff to his Q, and remove the dang AP from his stun and ult. Its idiotic. The guy struggles to put out good damage as it is.. let him scale off of a useful stat.

E is 1.5/2.5 seconds, depending on whether empowered or not, not 6.

And his only CC is single target.

I don't know if Panth is OP or not. But IF he is OP, it's not as a tanky support. He's a B-tiers tank support, at best.
