Why nerf cost of starting items for Supports?

I cannot believe that starting items for Supports were nerfed. Seriously RIOT? Supports already get a lot of hate from players and the community. Why nerf all Supports by changing starting item costs? It really sucks because it slows down Supports item development. We are already behind on items and usually have less power than other team members. The Support role is already underpowered compared to other roles, so why nerf all Supports at the beginning of game? The impact of changing item costs for Support items will hurt Supports greatly. Please restore the the cost of Support items back to normal, thank you for your time.
