Would this version of Guinsoo's be acceptable?

Guinsoo's Rageblade

Blasting Wand (850) + Recurve Bow (1000) + Pickaxe (875) + 675 = 3400

+30 Attack Damage +40 Ability Power +15 Magic Damage On-Hit +25% Attack Speed

Unique Passive: Your basic attacks grant +5 Attack Damage, +7 Ability Power, +2 Magic Damage On-Hit, and +5% Attack Speed for 5 seconds, stacking up to 5 times. While this passive is fully stacked, you gain Guinsoo's Rage.

Guinsoo's Rage: Every other basic attack will trigger on-hit effects an additional time.

~

+30 Attack Damage (1050) +40 Ability Power (870) +15 Magic Damage On-Hit (375) +25% Attack Speed (625)

Total Value at Zero Stacks: 2920 Efficiency at Zero Stacks: 85.88% Live Guinsoo's Efficiency at Zero Stacks: 74.65%

+5 Attack Damage (175 x 5 = 875) +7 Ability Power (152.25 x 5 = 761.25) +2 Magic Damage On-Hit (50 x 5 = 250) +5% Attack Speed (125 x 5 = 625)

Total Value at Max Stacks: 5431.25 Efficiency at Max Stats: 159.74% Live Guinsoo's Efficiency at Max Stacks: 139.99%

Mostly did this because I like mathing out cost efficiency.

I considered trying it out with an Aether Wisp instead of Blasting Wand, and having it grant +5% Movement Speed too, but I wasn't sure if that would be too much.

its still shit for melee. anything more than 4 autos to stack it. is shit for melee. also the on hit damage is too little to justify the absurd cost the item has. look nobody goes full on hit (except kayle). and considering nobody does. its probably better to get idk. a wits end to at least tank some magic damage.

it'll make kayle an ABSOLUTE MONSTER while still being unappealing for any other champ. There just isn't any other champ other than kayle or teemo that really could benefit much from guinsoo's.

I assumed Guinsoo's is intended to be an on-hit "core" item, like how Infinity Edge is the core item for crit. It's just hard to design an item that actually feels good and does that at this price point.

Especially since you have to be careful how on-hit items are designed, or else Ezreal breaks them. You can't just make it melee-only, either, because Kog and Kayle like the potential on-hit itemization too.

That on top of the fact that the Phantom Hit effect was always hard to balance to begin with...

Not sure it even needs to have attack speed. It should be somewhere between Rabadon's and IE so that it actually amplifies Hybrid Damage like it's supposed to.

I think it may be gaining a bit too much per stack, but otherwise I quite like it.
