Any Tips on Cassiopeia? (Be detailed if possible)

I decided to mainCassiopeiaCassiopeia because she is really fun and able to kite well. Mid-late game I got her kiting down. I got her CS kind of good (45-70 CS at 10:00) I need help with the following:

  • What abilities to scale first.
  • How to kite with her e while conserving mana.
  • How to farm early game while conserving mana, other than using AA's a bunch. People in Bronze always push so I need to figure out a way to because I only get so low CS at 10:00 because half of it is under turret.
  • Are my runes for her good? (9x Marks Magic Penetration, 4x Seals flat Armor, 5x Seals flat Magic Resist, 9x Glyphs Magic Penetration, 1x Quintessence Magic Penetration, 2x Quintessences Ability Power)
  • Is rushing cooldown + item 3070Tear + item 3089Rabadons good? (Rylai's Crystal Scepter after of course) *item 3070Tear + item 1001tier 1 boots first or item 1058N.L.R early game?

Please give constructive feedback. No "GIT GUD M8" or "Your bronze don't play difficult champs BLAH BLAH BLAH" or anything similar. I need to get out of bronze, but I'm not about to go the cowards way out and spamMasterYiYi in ranked.

  1. Level E first. I usually start Q to get 1-2 off on the enemy before level 2. Once you're level 2, land it and commit to Eing them if they stay within range. You can cheese first blood or at least force a back. If you get first blood, immediately get a tear.

  2. Kiting is only as difficult as your lane matchup. If you land a Q, don't overcommit to trying to finish them off unless you're for sure going to get the kill. She's extremely vulnerable to ganks and forcing your opponent out of lane is just as valuable as killing them.

  3. I like to push by using Miasma / Twin Fang to last hit. As your tear stacks, you'll get larger refunds from your E.

  4. I'd probably go ability power quints all the way. If you need practice kiting, movement speed quints are a good alternative and make her pretty fast.

EDIT: 5. I like to go Tear into RoA. This slows down your early / mid game, but gives her a durable lategame. If you're fighting a strong AD, definitely get a seeker's and play more conservatively.

Um i dont really play cass but i used to main burst mages. Try getting a mana crystal into tear asap like with ryze or EZ. LEarn to farm under tower since you are immobile and that is kinda how you play her unless you lane bully the noobs. maybe that helps i hope. but honestly you learn most of that stuff by just playing her a lot. try different builds. I have a point of mastery with ziggs now that i can not play him for months then go ADC as him and carry a game. Over time you learn things and tricks so just play more and have fun :) And your runes should be 9x Ap or magic pen marks 9x armor seals 9x mrglyphs or 6xflat mr glyphs 3x mr scaling glyphs 3x AP quints maybe a movespd or two quints if you must but you seem the balls deep kinda guy so go full ap and marks and quints then just get sorcs later since most bronzies dont get mr until late game or they dont get any at all

get a dorans item 1056 and two pots with biscuteer mastery most often. then against really hard matchups like a talon or zed get item 3010 (note only with dorans ring since it has mana regen)into item 3027 asap. Against easy like heim, veigar, annie get item 1027 into item 3070 asap if you want by lvl 3 so you can spam and build into item 3040 asap as well. get boots item 3020 then item 3116 get ryalis everytime its a core item. also item 3151 against tanks like mundo garen and nautilus possibly even item 3165 against like illaoi, mundo, swain or heavy regen champs.

I always see Rylais so definitely getting that Also Zed vs cass is not the hardest matchup. #1 is Ahri. I agree with the rest and i'll try the ROA build. Thank you!

Check out this link and read it all

PS. if you play against a talon... i was mid main in s5. back the fuck off at lvl 3 cuz he will kill you and destroy your lane. http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/in-depth-s6-competitive-cassiopeia-guide-378242

My advice is to not player her.She is terrible right now.She is my favourite champ by far and my main since season 3 with more than 1000 games played.I reached plat 1 with her last season but she is garbage right now.Just pick a popular mid laner and you will do everything you could do with cass but better and easier. Also she is going to be reworked again. So long story short dont bother with her.
