Thornmail doesn't do jack. Her dueling is strong but Unless you can burst her Quick, then troubled moments will pass shortly.
Ban Vayne if you want to avoid headaches via fighting skilled Vaynes or getting a challenged one on your team.

trundle can very easily kill a vayne post 6 with some form of stealth detection and ninja tabi
sounds like you just dont know how to melee-vs-ranged lane very well
