what champ to counter yasuo top lane?
I used to pick Renekton but now he's broken. Sunfire Akali used to be good too but that got nerfed. I don't know who to pick into him.

Anything melee really, but some notably good ones against him from what I've played is the following:
I like Pantheon into him, because there's not a lot a Yasuo can do to him. The only caveat is that you basically have to kill yasuo early. If you don't, he'll outscale you extremely quickly after he gets to his two item powerspike
Literally no point in the game where Yasuo can 1v1 
, just saying. Maybe like....LATE LATE 6 item yasuo, but Morde just puts him in the garbage.
But yeah, play safe on 
Darius the first maybe 2-3 levels, then it's all downhill from there for yasuo. If yasuo doesn't win early it's going to be sad times in the top lane.
just straight out beats yasuo around level 4. It can be rough early, but once tryn gets a few levels and maybe 1 item back the lane is freelo at that point.
Darius is good.

With most skirmishers, it matters less about what you pick in comparison to how good the enemy is as whatever skirmisher they picked.
Yas, Ekko, Fiora, etc.
Nasus and darius all game long.
Anything that can build sunfire cape or some form of easy applied light AoE dmg, a lot of duelist.
Above all it's mostly a skill match up.

is a godly counter to Yas. Bait his W, wait for him to dive you (it'll happen. It's impossible for Yas to not dive you), Q him. Laugh maniacally. Works best if you get to m7 on Teemo, to tilt the Yas better.
Late game may be shit, but you can make the enemy Yas RQ before the 18 minute mark, anyways.
Darius also works well, from what I understand. Yas wins early on, but loses later.

I'm quite frankly surprised no one said Riven yet. Many Yauso mains claim she is his hardest matchup.
All in all, any damage dealer that can rush ninja tabi will merc him. Even better if they can build Randuin's Omen.

yet, He's supposedly Yasuo's best counters. Many high Elo players have done so.
Darius and Garen if you can play around him
Darius. Just dont fight him till you are level 3
Morde will absolutely decimate yasuo top
Well coming as a yasuo main, I have difficulty dealing with garen sometimes and surprisingly, gragas but that could have just been an off game
daruis shits on yasuo top, if you win level 1 and 2 you basically win till level 8 ( or when ever he finished maxing Q) just dont ever extend and get ganked
it takes about 1 item for yasuo to catch up to daruis's stats so if you fall behind you'll be punished twice as hard as mid because of his kit
