Is Riot afraid of odd numbers? (BotRK)
5.22: 8% to 6% 6.23: 6% to 8%
It goes from a passable item to a must have item. Riot, have you ever heard of the number 7? I think that number would help you a lot balancing BotRK.

This post completely misses the point anyway. The change from 6% to 8% in 6.23 isn't what made Botrk too strong; everyone was rushing lethality at the time, if you recall. No, the rise of Botrk came from a combination of 2 things: A nerf of lethality across the board and the buffs that Botrk got in 7.5.
7.5 Total cost reduced to Gold 3300 from Gold 3400. Combine cost reduced to Gold 800 from Gold 900. Attack damage increased to 40 from 25. Attack speed reduced to 25% from 40%. Life steal increased to 15% from 10%. Active damage changed to 100 from 10% of target's maximum health. Active damage type changed to magic from physical. REMOVED: Active healing for 10% of target's maximum health. On-hit minimum damage increased to 15 from 10.
Those are the changes that made Botrk too strong, not the change from 6% to 8%.
Ewwww odd numbers, gross.
Because seven "ate" nine?
A 7 once killed the "office cat" of the balance team.
7 is a well know ravenous unholy beast of a number roaming misty European country sides with demonic hunger. Thats why they added the little cross bit to ward off the demonic presence from the number, making it more like a crucifix.
7 over here state side is a well know cannibalistic killer of the number 9 when it ate it, as the saying goes "Seven ate Nine."
So no, they cant use 7 because they are in fact afraid, and you should be too... now you know.

NO!
8% is where it is two 4s!
6% is one and a half 4s!
That's not the problem botrk has but w/e
I don't think 7% will be the solution for BotrK. The issue of the item is not that the on hit is overtuned(or not), but that it does to many things at once, so whenever it's decent enough to be used, it will be a staple on about any AA based champ because you get all you would want on an AA based champ out of that 1 item. A mix of ad and as for solid dps, %hp damage to deal with tanky opponents, lifesteal and on top of that an utillity active that allows for chaseing/kiteing.
Imo BotrK need to loose one off the tings it offers, else it will always bounce between beeing the go to item for about any AA champ, an beeing a nearly never used niche item.
I feel like we'd just get another case of "5 AD", that old meme from long ago.
"WTF Rito, BoRK so borken, and you only nerf it by 1% GG biased Rito."
Odd numbers are disgusting, with the exception of 7 and 9 (Not numbers ending in 7 or 9, just the OG 7 and 9) and every number that ends in 5.
I think this has more to do with making a noticeable difference than it does with even numbers.
V4.10 On-hit damage increased to 8% of current health from 5%.
Can confirm, Riot turned numeracist in Season 4.
or maybe BotRK is just a badly designed item and needs a large thematic shift?
Riot is afraid of odd numberabut calculated aatrox's uselessness to the exact decimal.
G!G!
"Let's count to five!"
Lethality:
6.22: .4 upfront
7.2: .6 upfront
I feel they should just swap the AD and AS again. This way it isn't as great of a rush items on carries that want AD, but it's still usable on the champs who've traditionally liked it like

Maybe this would be the perfect balance, but they should wait until they can see how the health changes on the tank-items effect the game
Maybe Riot fears the number 7 just as much as Guido Mista from Vento Aureo hates the number 4?
Omg... I love the weird battle going on here, Jhin mains trying to keep upvotes at 4, and then trolls (me) trying to make them odd numbers...
