Deathfire Touch is REALLY underwhelming.

In what case would you pick this over Thunderlords? Thunderlords is basically another ability in itself, whereas Deathfire is just a really shitty version of Ignite. Every other keystone has their benefits; Warlords for Lifesteal and re positioning, Fervor for constant damage, Stormraiders for re positioning and slow resistance, Thunderlords for burst, windspeakers for OP heals, Grasp for lane sustain and favorable trades, Courage for OP shields and benefits tanks for initiating, and Bond of stone for constant healing. Then we got Deathfire which burns for 8 damage per second, if you're lucky. Rework this shit man.

Champions who enjoy easy use of single target abilities, of course. I find it more useful on AD than AP, though.

Jhin is pretty much my premier example. He scales out of control and drops like 200 damage DFT late on his W, which is just swell.

But he's like the only champion, besides Varus, that uses it.

DoT mages like it too like Brand or Malzahar

Plus his ult, which is why he likes Ryliandry combo too.

I don't think, contrarily, that Ezreal nor Gangplank can make use of it on their Q.

Karthus could use it fairly well considering how consistently he could keep it up. In a teamfight, he'd have great coverage. Same story with the Ryliandry combo.

Compared to Fervor it is a joke.

DFT is barely allowed to carve out a negligible niche.

Yeah. When I look at both low-elo and the pros, Deathfire definitely has its place.

It's a pretty niche keystone mastery, if they buffed it their might be super synergy with some champions. I take it on Jhin and Veigar.
