Kayles Ultimate can only be used on herself.

How would this be a buff? It would reduce her skill floor, but would definitely be a big nerf for anyone who mains her or knows how to play her.
If you only want to ult yourself, use smart+self cast on ult when playing Kayle.
But that tantalizing option is always there to bait you into ulting a low health ally. I think it would inflate her win rate since she is played at lower elos. Therefore resulting in room for buffs.
I sense you just got rekt by an enemy Kayle who manages to shield the dying ADC you got killed by.
Lol no I was just wondering about others opinions. Tbh she is bad. Any champion with spammable cc or knockups shits on her. She is out dated...movement speed is the poor man's mobility these days. same with slows. Blinks and hard cc is all that matters tbh. Idk why slows and speed buffs are even in this game they are mostly irrelevant.
And you think taking away her ability to shield other players to stubbornly use it for herself improves anything? How does this even relates to what you're commenting about?
Note: She can still uses ult on herself, your change is like 100% unnecessary. It's nothing but a nerf. A selfish nerf.
Why does it need to only be self-castable? Yes, immunity to any given ally is extremely powerful, but there's other ways to approach balancing it. The cooldown, for instance, is pretty low for the amount of power it provides. What if they increased the cooldown of the ultimate, but made it so another ability interacted with it by reducing the cooldown for x amount of seconds off every instance of that ability? So, something like:
Intervention Rank 1 - 120s Rank 2 - 110s Rank 3 - 100s
Divine Blessing - Whenever Kayle heals a friendly CHAMPION with this ability, the cooldown on Intervention is reduced by x amount of seconds.
Duo lane
ADC +
Support would be no more a thing... how can this possibly be a buff?
