Y'know, your tips for playing against fizz aren't the best

The first one says don't let your health go low or don't let him damage you a lot.

The second one says don't chase him.

....

I think there's something wrong here. Look at other fighters/assassins....

Yi: the useful one here is use cc. The client says attack him after he q's to make him waste mana, use cc, and he's susceptible to coordinated ganks aka 1v3s or such. Not bad but acceptable.

Xin: Client-Have your team spread out and stop him finishing his q. .....could def be better here.

Fiora: The client offers one good tip. Punish her when she's about to use her passive. The other says don't cc fiora or you get cc'd.....well gee thanks.

Graves: build armor and leave his w. Ok not bad.

You get the idea. Can we have an actual counter or some way to take care of fizz? Like his damage is just fine. EVERYTHING is fine....EXCEPT his e when he's done dealing his damage. Nerf that trollpole pls. We should be able to counter him. Other champs have ways of dealing with them and riot acknowledges it. And yet Fizz has nothing aside from don't die and don't kill him. Both of which are super hard to do >.>

Yes this was a nerf fizz's e thread but can you blame me when you look for ways to lane against him and the best tips riot has to offer is don't die?

Give it vlad's cd without the reduction per level. Have them put more points into cdr if they went their offensive/defensive spell to be more effective.

Fizz is the Vayne of assassins. You should wreck him in lane and keep him behind long enough for your team to snowball the game and win. If you don't do that and you feed him, he's going to be a monster.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person who has played ADC and been 100-0d by the mechanically poor Fizz who has 40 cs at 20 minutes.

QSS removes Fizz's kill potential. Then you just play like most other assassin lanes. Don't tank damage for free, don't stay at low HP, ping MIA's.

sorry but I'm not getting qss as my first item. I got damage and other mana items to build just like fizz. Plus what does qss remove besides his w? Its the e thats the problem. He q's in, one AA, then e out and you can't do a damn thing about it

That's fine, you don't have to. You just wanted counterplay to Fizz. -- Fizz is an assassin, meaning he typically needs to build an early lead, to scale well into mid game. Mages, like Vel'koz, typically have slightly better damage output, and are less reliant on items.

QSS drops his ult, the Fish. The thing that slows you, and increases his burst potential against you. If Fizz wants to Q-AA, then E to run, he just burned 1/3rd - 1/2 of his mana pool early. He also just burned all of his spells, which means you can move up, and start harassing him. No Fizz is going to do that, unless he's going for an extended trade.

true I did.

No he didn't. He burned maybe a 5th of it. I play fizz I know. Also mana regen restores around 1/6th of it so sometimes it doesn't matter lol.

He also just burned all of his spells, which means you can move up, and start harassing him.

No I can't. He's running away making sure I can't trade with him. And, thanks to minion block, I can't move forward fast enough to land a stun or a slow. So thats 1/3rd of MY health gone and I can't do anything

No Fizz is going to do that, unless he's going for an extended trade.

EVERY Fizz does that. Do you not watch fizz's play? Their favourite is when they go in in the tower and you try to trade back, then fizz e's and the tower did nothing and so did you while taking another 1/3rd of health.

Every part of what you said except the qss part is false lol. Every person who plays fizz knows the Q>W>E combo and they KNOW they can get away with it with little to no punishment. Also, the mage you said thats vel'koz.....and every other immobile mage that meddler mention, fizz counters them all lol. 'Boutta land a skillshot? Lemme dash out of that for ya. 'Boutta land a stun or slow and catch me? Lemme e out. Then they wait for cd's and go in.

A level 3 Fizz has 372 mana. Q costs 50, W costs 40, E costs 90. That's half of his mana pool. Assuming Fizz doesn't run mana quints, or starts sapphire crystal. And if he's running away from you after doing that, it means he's zoning himself from CS. He does have to get into your range to do something.

Every Fizz does that? Dang, I'm playing against really bad Fizz players then. Typically they'll wait until I burn a skill, dodge it with E, then go in for AA's with W, eventually using Q to get out. Good to know thou, ty.

LOL They dodge skills with e? Lame. There's a thing called sidestepping that I always use lmao. If you can dodge with an immobile mage with minion block, you can dodge as a mobile assassin that bypasses that. You're supposed to do it in reverse. Q in, AA once, proc thunderlords, e out. Literally at least a third of their health gone and you're now gone as well due to e lol.

What? You don't like how he can completely remove himself from the map, dodging all damage/skills and can be used to jump over walls or slow enemies, has the highest damage of his non-ultimate skills and can be reduced to as low as 5 CD with enough CDR?

Yea...I hate fizz and feel his E needs some nerfing, mainly in the CD.

The Death Recap and everything pertaining to that is crap.

They should just remove that window, it's useless and distracting.

IMO Fizz is not in the need of a nerf, there are many ways to stop him such as punishing his weak early game. Building Qss is also good, if you have a dash you can get out of the way of his e, his ult is a very skinny skillshot and not hard to dodge. Engage when he uses his e, you could bait it out and then all in him which is always a good idea. He is extremely squishy and because your complaing about him im guessing you play mid lane and you should have enough burst to kill him before e comes off cd. Also if you have qss and you keep your distance he cant rly do much because you render his ult useless. Lastly if you do manage to get fizz behind he is pretty much useless late game.

Does this mean pre-6? Thats actually a fairly short timespan then considering how snowbally the current meta is :/

Yeah but I'm not willing to get qss early like I mentioned in my previous post. Immobile mages don't have dashes.....anyone that isn't an assassin doesn't have a dash really...and idk why I never thought of sidestepping his ult lmao. I don't think it'll work but I'll try it.

Engage when he uses his e, you could bait it out and then all in him which is always a good idea.

His e is the last thing he uses in which case I'm already dead. And how do you bait an e without all-inning him? That e cd is shorter than my stun cd. So even if I do bait it he'll use his combo.

He is extremely squishy and because your complaing about him im guessing you play mid lane and you should have enough burst to kill him before e comes off cd.

I play equal shares of mid and bot. I actually haven't been against fizz lately but I know what it's like to go against one. He's the one champ I think should be deleted besides satan ofc. Like whenever I get on a losing streak, I just play fizz and usually do good.

Also if you have qss and you keep your distance he cant rly do much because you render his ult useless. Lastly if you do manage to get fizz behind he is pretty much useless late game.

I don't think he's useless lategame. few kills and he's back to snowballing. And even with qss, you have more to worry about than just a fizz lategame. He just makes it worse :/
