I really don't want people who enter game and are like

"Wtf happened to drag" "WHY DOES BRAND DO SO MUCH DAMAGE"

I can understand if some don't understand the mages completely like "What does that shield do malz". But don't be one of those that are like

"Why is RH buff not expiring?" "Since when does zhonyas give cdr?"

Edit: For anyone saying "Why is brand in the post" its because he's only an example. I just picked a random mage at the time and he happened to be the one I picked. They should all do rather good damage though.

Not going to agree or disagree. But the character seems to be around mid-to-late teens. For Toph we've seen:

6-year old.
Middle-aged adult.
Cranky old crone.

Plenty of room to fit this new one into the time line. ;p

These patch notes actually took me an hour and 20 minutes to read. I mean, yes I read every last word, but still, this one was a doozy. But it was worth, gotta educate yourself, ya know?

Seriously, it took pretty much my evening yesterday to read it once, understand, and memorize the champ changes, item changes (which I find much more difficult to internalize than champ changes), buff, dragon, and herald changes, Taliyah (Ik she's not live, but still) and whatever else.

But it's satisfying when you get it, and you can enter a game fully informed.

70% of the playerbase don't want to be informed, they just want to play and could care less about what changed every two weeks.

I wish they would give a damn though... Would make the game more fun instead of winning because they don't understand the new mechanics.

Are the patch notes out yet though? I haven't seen them on the main page, on the news, or even when I went to news>game updates>patch there was just 6.8 stuff there. I mean they're on the pbe but that's got some other stuff too so you can't just go off that. Help would be appreciated though haha

Sure, there might be minimal things that are changed (the largest/most recent that I remember is Nid rooting jg monsters), but at least it stops the posts like "omg riot do something about afk's" or "Rito please remove devourer"

Surrender@20 covers all sorts of League-related news, they're not limited to PBE updates and haven't ever been in my memory. They post Riot employee updates and comments on the boards if they include useful info, and they always post the update times and notes for the next patch...

Yeah, but @Slythion said that FF@20 just copy+pastes the patch notes from PBE. The PBE doesn't release patch notes and Moobeat, from FF@20, digs through the files and everything to find the changes.

As far as I'm aware, they show us patch notes that were changed on the PBE so I assumed that they got them from the PBE.

No, Moobeat goes through the files to find changes. They mention it when they say new files have been added and its how we get info for new skins or features.

Not sure why you placed Brand there as someone that does so much damage. Every ability was nerfed; base damage AND AP ratios (except for his W). His passive, which was originally 8% max health is now 2%. He can no longer bully someone out of lane, still has crazy high mana costs (which are even worse now with no mana regen). But it's "ok" because his passive is great in teamfights. Now he's just bad in everything else :).
