I've never liked Garen, he has zero skill in his kit and does way too much damage for supposed to being a tank, and being able to build tank and still do that damage. Now he's damn near unkillable in a 1v1, he has a speed boost that silences, a shield that gives him crazy resists an E that can 1 shot some champs and a true dmg R that can do upwards of 1000 damage.
He's actually squishier than he was before in a 1v1, what are you even talking about? Stop listing champ's skills and "strengths" you can do that for any champ in the game and make them sound OP.
Once you learn the game you'll realize Garen is absolute garbage champ.
I think he is fine because he struggles to get to people unless they let him. Sure he can flash + Q but that is only once, and that usually goes really badly for him (trust me I am a garen main haha) unless he is extremely fed, his team goes in immediately with him so Garen doesn’t get focused and burst or if the enemy team are idiots and ignore him while he spins on them. Also btw if his R deals 1000 damage on a target then that person is dead anyways without Garen’s R because he/she would most likely have 1-5 HP left.
This is why the boards are so bad, y’all don’t look at the negatives/weaknesses of a champion and think that over exaggerating the positives of each champion is going to prove that they are so OP.

He was better before the re-work. His kit is intrinsically weaker now. He has fallen in high MMR pretty quickly. riste isn't even Challenger anymore.
