Honestly, this wouldn't even have to be a Regular queue type. Just add it into Custom games at least, the same way that the All-Stars 1v1 worked on the ARAM map.
This way people could 1v1 with set rules and could compete against each other easier on Tournaments as such. One of which i will be competing in tomorrow.

And a 1v1 mode is even worse. It's a team game, 1v1ing proves absolutely nothing other than trying to prove you got a bigger dick than the other person unless you guys are playing the same champs every game.
rtbf2256182411 votesIt's a team game but what happened to having fun? Not everyone wants to grind 500 fucking games in Normals all day playing a single map only. I don't play Dota but i know they have player-made custom modes everyone can play. Not all of them require teamplay yet the Dota community is still more competitive than League's which is full of crybabies and coach-wannabes.
It may be a team game but if that's so, then why does ARAM or TT exist in the first place? SR is where people should be focusing their heads on apparently. No.Fun.Allowed! Oh and remove the Rotating Game Mode queue, too much fun. (Even though the current modes really are boring imo.)

4th Chiming Lamb1 votesBecause 1v1 on Howling Abyss or Summoner's Rift is too hard to set up, right? Just make a custom game and invite one guy. Setting rules and following them isn't hard. For instance, when I 1v1, it's: Whoever wins is the first 1 a) get a kill, b) take down a tower, c) get to 100 cs. Enforcing these isn't hard.
rtbf2256182411 votesIt's not hard to improvise but for tournaments and such it's difficult to monitor who won. Also, it's sometimes annoying when people don't quit the game so you're stuck on the reconnect screen.

rtbf2256182411 votesFacepalm* The point is to end the game as a proper game mode and not be stuck in the "Reconnect" menu because the random person you might be playing with could not know what to do or can't take a defeat so they stay until the end. I had this sometimes and i had to play until i destroyed their nexuses because they couldn't accept a defeat.
