Changes to ryze, nerfing top lane ryze, but trying to make mid lane ryze better

I know my opinion may not matter since i am not a pro or even gold material, but even i can see that the changes to ryze may ne nerfing his top lane; but they are hitting his mid lane just as much. with the new changes to Ryze on pbe it lowers base damage of q so he cant just harrass to win early and hyper carry late game with little to know ways to stop him. Would it be to hard to find a way to buff his mid lane while lowering his top lane potential? I was thinking increasing range of q Base damage early game (slightly more so then on pbe) and lowering its cdr given in early levels. make his w or e a skill shot at range of 725-800, or even keep his w/e the same but making his e not only do mr shred but give him mr when the bounce hits him, such as he gets halve the effect in mr if it hits him making trades in mid more capable along with not buffing him against to many top laners except maybe heavy magic damage top laners. Any ideas? or should i just find someone else i enjoy in mid lane?

What you suggest would just buff his top lane status again. Even longer range on his Q and make him all that more difficult to fight back against.

Any buff done to Ryze will always be a buff to top lane, so no.

And actually, mid lane champions Malzahar Syndra Zed is usually squishier than top lane Trundle JarvanIV Darius who has more sustains, so I think the previous nerf had set him right to be forced into going mid lane instead of top lane, to use up what's little amount left of his Q on squishy mid laners instead.
