Fizz counter

For all 20 of you that don't play ad or assassin mid I found a decent fizz counter. Karma is a good counter to fizz for one main reason. Fizz has a very weak early game. Karma has one of the strongest games pre-six because she has her ult before level six. This allows for lots of poke. If you are good enough you can keep fizz out of lane and away from farm. Just make sure to keep some wards on you because the jungle will try and gank you, and be wary of fizz ganking other lanes, you should be faster than him with the aid of your e so is you have an idea of where he is going try to help that lane out or catch him in the jungle. Let me know what you think or if you have found other mage counters to fizz.

I watched a video of someone playing brand against fizz, he was explaining how most people think fizz counters brand but it's the opposite because brand can land his DOTs whenever fizz tries to farm with his troll pole, and brand had good base stats or something. Unfortunately I don't play either (or even mid really) but brand seemed to fair very well in the match up.

I think that this match up is more skill based, so it depends on how good the brand player is and if the jungle is active in the mid lane at all.

Syndra Syndra has a very good laning phase against Fizz. After laning phase though you just have to play kite queen in the back lines and save your stun for when he uses his Trickster too early and etc etc.

Fizz hard counters Syndra, Ahri, and pretty much all squishy mages. Harassing him during the early laning doesn't change the fact that his kit has everything in it to destroy Syndra.

I have had success with malzahar, Annie, orianna, and ahri.

Malzahar and Viktor both work well, provided you play them defensively.

In regards to Malz I own him and I am can see the logic, but I disagree with it. I don't think playing defensively against a fizz is the way to go because once he gets enough farm fizz can dive you with a bit of help. I wouldn't know about victor I don't play him much and he is getting reworked.

My favorite fizz counter is Fiddlesticks . Just spam drain on his face anytime he goes for a minion. If he all ins, just keep drainin'(unless he got fed somehow)

decent fizz counter

the thing is that either you counterpick fizz or he has an easy time getting fed and doing crazy stuff while his counter pool is quite small and situational

zed is my go to fizz counter but he is an ad mid which is a con (i already saw entire teams bouncing off one tank cause they picked only ad champs)

when you face a guy like zed you can survive pre 6 but a fizz with a decent brain will be able to rip the skinn of any mage without his ult
