Should the more snowbally champs even exist?

I mean so much of this game is about teamwork and positioning. The only time you see characters like Yi or Kat ruin a game its because matchmaking gave them one or more opponents who had no idea what they were stepping into. This makes the lowest skilled players on any team much more of a liability and probably increases toxicity since when the 8/0 LB comes and erases your bot lane people are generally gonna start cussing at the mid.

Allowing champions to snowball as hard as someone like Vayne or Ekko just removes the team aspect of the game and makes it more of a one man show. After long enough the entire game becomes about that one champ, where if you can just remove them from the equation, you win the fight. To me this is the exact opposite of what you should want out of a team based activity. It's neat to have a star player and all, but when someone can get so fed that they can easily 1v3 the enemy team, something just isn't working out right.

Why not reign them in some? If the idea of a supreme snowballer has to stay, then why not give them significantly horrible early and mid games? I mean all Kat or Vayne really need is like a 2 kill lead and nobody can compete with them unless you do something really drastic, and even then you're risking getting them even more fed. I don't see how that level of snowball is good for anything except making teams fight amongst themselves even more.

This is what happens when you post a thought out idea on the forums in a reasonable fashion. Dowvnoted with no reason. Yay for effective communication techniques :P

Because it is obvious (to me at least) why this post is not very good. Give them "significantly horrible early and mid games" is the whole idea presented here?

The better option is to learn how to play against these champs, starve them early, then win. No point punishing a champ because of bad players who dont learn to play against these types of champs.

So its fine to punish entire teams and trap them in nearly guaranteed frustrating losses where they get instagibbed repeatedly because one guy didn't understand a champ? Does that really seem like an ideal game mechanic to you?

even non snowballing champs can do this. Might as well nerf every champ

Yeah Kat getting a small lead is just as oppressive and terrible for everyone else as Shen :P

I have no problem with snowballing within reason. Champs like Kat, Talon, etc. literally start snowballing with the first kill. That is insane. The opponent could have had a lag spike and lost the fight due to that, not being outplayed. You shouldn't start snowballing until you are 3 kills up. That way skill is the more determining factor and less luck. If you got the first kill off of skill, you shouldn't have any trouble getting the 2nd and 3rd. Plus this keeps your opponent from snowballing off of other lanes since you forced them out of yours with good play.

Within reason is one thing, but the way the guys I mentioned(and some others) are it doesn't really take much.
