Talisman rework feedback and idea
The coin rework has been out a while, and it's impact has been shown by this point. IMO, it's still far too weak to really compete with either Targon or Fang lines.
Coin is almost always used almost exclusively by enchanters, and enchanters have a CDR overload. Back when coin was reworked to have CDR as a part of it's base stats, there were several factors at play that made this fairly decent.
- Most of the other support items didn't provide CDR either up front or until the very end of the build at best, and it was restricted to the route with the active and not the eye-stones.
- The new heal/shield stat had yet to be invented. This meant CDR was far more the quintessential "Enchanter" stat than the new heal shield amp.
Nowadays though, Enchanters have stupidly easy CDR access, and a new stat that acts as a great scalar of their power, the Heal/shield stat. Further more, all of the support items now grant CDR to all of their final forms, and have a CDR component in building to that final form if the active based form. This means the coin's niche power has been steadily diluted to all the support items further making it a weaker choice.
So onto the idea to buff/mini-rework coin and medallion.
Swap the CDR on the Coin and it's second upgrade with heal/shield amp of the same value (So 5% on coin and 10% on Medallion). Adjust stats as needed to account for change in stat in the completed Talisman and Eye of the Oasis (Minorly nerf base stats and add in heal/shield amp to keep roughly same gold effeciency).
I also personally believe that Talisman should have the Raptor Cloak change to its recipe from ages ago reverted back to the original Forbidden Idol, as the main reason that change was even performed was because back then Talisman's core issue was that it granted a ton of non-combat stats, but now heal/shield amp exist as a combat stat that functions well for it. It also no longer grants such a stupidly high mana regen overload now that Talisman itself grants HP regen and not mana regen as it's base regen stat (At least by the Medallion).
