so i have been playing some ap varus lately and i have been wondering how his ult works completely cause when you throw it at multiple people it sticks to the others after a few seconds well when they walk out of the range and get unbinded and walk back in do they get binded again or do they just stay unbinded like morgana's ult

The ult spread moves slowly to enemies even if they aren't in rage of the root. But if they aren't in range, it just dies.

So yes, You can leave range and then re-enter it and still be at risk of being hit by it.
