Riot did increase the damage on it not too long ago. That's probably what he's referring to.

Yes ignite did just recently get buffed a nice amount. But that's mostly because it got to be useless later in the game (granted there's the argument that it's main purpose is early game kills). Ignite is strong, but not OP. You're particular example is brand + ignite. Regardless of the buff, brand WILL NOT 1 shot you with E-Q-W + ignite at level 3. Will you be really low? For sure, and if you drew minion aggro or the enemy ADC was also autoing you, then yeah you're gonna die. That's not ignite's fault, that's just brand doing brand things. Solution: remove Brand from the game :)

It does 2 much dmg now and is broken on supports sick of Brand just e-q-w me and igniting me level 3 and I am dead or Bard just alking up to me q and spam auto with ignite and I am dead its so strong atm and unfair and makes heal so useless aswell.

Ignite is pretty nice against healing comps and gives the support the ability to tip fights in one direction or another.

Then play around brand combo, ingite is just there to punish your misplays in that scenario. Considering ADCs have been taking TP, it's pretty well known heal is useless.
