CLIENT CRASH IN SERIES??????????
I just lost my series to plat 3 thnx to fucking Riots garbage client it would not let me in the game until my team finally remaked I am so sick of this trash client ruining games. FUCKING FIX IT.

The same thing has been happening to me for the past week. The "solution" I found was to use the task manager to close League entirely, then relaunch the game. As soon as I log back in it puts me back into the loading screen.
Solution is in quotations however, because doing this apparently temporarily resets your client, basically forgetting you ever played the game. It reenables newbie tips, walks you through the "new 2019 season", and clears all your rune pages. Leaving the total number of rune pages available, but they no longer exist until you remake them.
There is a 50/50 chance if you log out and log back in that the runes will come back. I have had to remake all 21 of my rune pages on 6 separate occasions this week, while about another 4 times I relogged and they were back.
Not sure if this is much help to you guys, but this is the only way I have found to "fix" the issue. Although it often happens again 2-3 games later.
I was 2-2 in my gold1>plat4 promos this morning. woke up feeling nice ready to win. bugsplat in loading screen and get black screen. forces me to restart comp. come back and game was remade and i lose series. gg thanks riot keep working on TFT though
I've heard they cannot really 'fix' the client as you say. The issue is that when you actually get into a game, the League launcher opens up an entirely separate file on your computer which contains the actual in game client. It's confusing, and you have to realize even though the launcher got graphically updated years ago, the back end of it probably has not changed since it was made back in 2009. The engine that League runs on is notoriously garbage and numerous Rioters have commented that it has a lot of unfixable issues. Getting TFT to work was apparently a huge challenge, but they ghetto rigged it to work off the same framework as League does, which is why when TFT came out the patch wasn't that big.

So THAT is why my 17 runepages went RIP recently, with all the other things you listed...I thought it was because I made a backup of my config folder (as deleting that folder - which I did NOT do - also resets the runes, I've been told by Support).
Another thing, if the loading window freezes...close the game .exe listed under "Background processes" (Windows 10). But don't do it before the game have actually strarted, else it will keep crashing. Or so it have consistently done under my own experiments.

The fact that this has been going on for weeks now is unacceptable. Peoples games are being ruined over this. People who have worked hard to climb into their promos are having their series thrown out over this. How can we realistically be expected to commit to ranked knowing that this problem may pop up at any time?
How relaunch the game? just starting league normally again? I have the same problem.
