League of Legends Match History

Well, today I was just hacked by some scripting Xerath and just logged on after a stressful day at school, but to my suprise when I logged in I was in champ select with Yasuo hovered, immediately I was confused and then the thought of me getting hacked popped into my mind and I quickly changed my password. After the game (where my settings were different hmmmmm), I looked in my match history (link above) and saw that someone played Xerath. No one knows my account information and I sure as hell don't play Xerath and after watching the game I could clearly see the guy was scripting. I decided to add the people in the game and they all told me what I suspected, that he, in fact, was scripting and that the whole lobby 9x me. The worst part is though he spent almost all my RP on some garbage emotes wasting a total of 1400 RP. I'm not sure what else to do but post this here, and I already tweeted to Riot games Support. I just hit honor level 1 and realized the error of my ways, don't let this hacker get me banned thanks.

Now, your account will get banned for scriptting, and they would say: it's your responsability for your account security. And the permaban will not get away.

That's what happens to all the players that posted the same thing here.

I hope it doesn't happen, but the Riot history in this situations are the described above.

The difficulty is the problem of trust. I heard about account beings hacked, but unless majority of players get such issue Riot will simply blame the player. And the thing is, that they aren't always wrong.

Though i would implement extra layers of checking, or optional method.

  1. brute-force defense. If you miss your password 3 times, then you get 1 hour ban. I would enforce this one.

  2. check e-mail. Like Steam does. If you try to log-on from an "unknown" computer, then e-mail confirmation sent.

  3. Would be behind paywall, but SMS check would be the strongest protection. Like on netbank. When you try to login you get an sms with the login code. Whoever tries to hack your account would also need your mobile phone to do so.

Stop playing on that account for now, make an alt, or a pbe account and screw around for a bit. Make a support ticket with all your information and evidence and see what they say. https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us

While I do feel for you, I kind of have a hard time believing that you logged in and the game transported you to champ select. If someone had been using your account at the time the system would simply give you an error message when you tried to login. The game can only have once instance of an account running at a time and I doubt it would kick out of the game the one who logged in first.

Ya, definitely support ticket. Idk if tweeting them is the same, as I've never used twitter.

your lvl1 honor tells me you were toxic in the past, did you possibly spread toxicity towards someone and ended up being targetted this way? good reason to not be toxic if you ask me... I say upvote this so toxic people have a good reason to not be toxic since this could be a very convincing example
