How good is FQC mid?

After the mid season mage update I heard that fqc mid is dead. But I think the stats aren't that bad for mid. I always built it on before the update because of the slows, regen and gold. So how good do u guys think it is?

I'm honestly too scared to try it out myself because feeding tilts me like nothing else and I'm too afraid of using a strange build.
